🌿Important lesson I’ve learned recently 🌿
I am exactly where I need to be at this very moment.
Worrying, fear, and doubt are human emotions. Instead of judging myself when these come up, I learned to be aware of them and let them go.
These past few weeks have been pretty eye opening. Nothing has changed really besides being able to finally view my life objectively, and release the idea that I’m supposed to be farther by now.
I let go of the idea that I’m “supposed” to be more successful, more adventurous, more (whatever people put pressure on themselves about).
Where I am now is just right.
My advice today is:
❁Take one step at a time and listen to your intuition.
❁It’s okay to not feel your best. It’s okay to have negative emotions. You are human. But don’t let them control you.
❁Trust that where you are now is a part of your path and is teaching you lessons whether you understand them or not.
Life is so much more enjoyable when you live in the present moment you’re given!🌸
Mount Acadia in Acadia National Park, Maine 💚
This was during my second visit to Maine.
The very first time I had been to Maine, this is where I wanted to be but soon I got a bad taste of America's public transport system and realised that it was almost impossible to reach here without my own car. I settled for Portland then and things worked out eventually and here I was at last 😬
I made a few friends in Portland's trip and one of them was planning to come to Acadia with his friends and invited me to join them. 😁
Hike to Mount Acadia was my first one in this national park and though it was a short one it was nevertheless rewarding with great views of the islands and nearby mountains.
The route was flourished with wild blueberries and we took the most advantage of it.
There were supposed to be 4 people in the trip but at last minute two people had to cancel the plan. So it was just me and Alex whom I joined in Boston. We drove from there.
Acadia was a beautiful experience since the moment we reached here.
The first night when we reached our B&B in South West harbour and stepped out of the car, I saw such a clear sky with a view of milky way that I told myself I was totally right about picking this place over other places.
Both of my visits to Maine have been beautiful experiences. I will write more about this place because it is going to hard to forget it easily.
Keep an eye on this space for more of this 🤗

Happy Birthday to my crazy child. He turns 1 year old today! (16 in Human Years). He's always been too smart for his own good. Rebellious, but loving. I posted 10 photos to show how he's grown over the past year. Love you buddy❤
To think I’ll be getting to do my hiking adventures with two little mini ♥️ sweet faces!!! How much fun we will have! 😆
Gotta work on the arms tho so I can be carrying and pushing that double stroller around!
Today is an exciting day, we welcomed Axel back into the pack for some walks & my boy has grown! Just look at his handsome face 😍🐾

I dont want you to understand the vision , all I need is for you to look thru and tell me your interpretation! If mine be of fog to you I accept with the least debate for my journey be mine alone and alone I carry the eyes bold enough to make my own interpretation! PRESERVATION FITNESS
The serious walking of my Camino Del Norte has ended so today it was surfing / surf photography for Mickey. Picked up a few stamps in my Camino Credenciales, to be continued. Tomorrow, the ferry to Santander for @michaeljpartridge to continue his journey along the Camino de Santiago.
Days 154 and 155 on the AT: Nero and Zero. Leeman Brook Lean-To to Shaw’s Hiker Hostel. 3 miles. Today was probably the most bittersweet day for me on the trail. Saw quite a few familiar faces that I wanted to see from early on in the hike which was great. But it was also my hiking partner Patience’s final destination hiking the AT. We knew that this day would soon be here before we knew it so there was no surprise. For almost 2 months we hiked together and ate together which was the longest each of us spent consecutively around another hiker. We had some great days and some not so great days but we had each other’s back for as long as we could. I couldn’t ask for a better hiking partner and very great full for our time hiking together. Hated to see her go but that’s just the way it goes.
My time at Shaw’s was great though. Ended up seeing Leslie (J-Walk) once again and her cute friend, The Minnesota Hikings (Big Red, The Count, and Wizard), Trash Can Man, Nemo, Cheese AKA Fake Hulk (just met him for the first time there), Johnny Appleseed, Fruit Loop, and best of all, my man Chad (Pacemaker) who is still Chad as Funk. Chad was the first person I met on the trail once I started back on March 21st. We hiked with Steve (Data now known as Dog Treats) and Chewbacca (which I learned got off the trail in PA for around a week until they left The Champ behind. It was great seeing him one more time before he entered the 💯 Mile Wilderness and summits katahdin. I have a feeling that I will be seeing him again in the future just like I have a feeling I will see Patience again. Aside from all that, I definitely enjoyed my stay at Shaws. Incredibly super hiker friendly. It’s ran by Poet and Hippie Chic. Former thru hikers. You could tell they really care for hikers and that goes a long ways. A place that I highly recommend. #japhethsjourney #thechamphikes #appalachiantrail #atclassof2019 #atthruhike #atthruhike2019 #hike #hikes #hiker #hikers #hiking #hikerlife #hikersofinstagram #hikertrash #thetrek #trektheat #outdoordonkey #backpacking #optoutside
I love bridges in the middle of forests. There's always an enchanting feeling about them, like you're about to cross into Narnia or Terebithia. 🙃 Or maybe Middle Earth. Who knows...
