My ghee days are over. I have done 7 days of ghee. I am so grateful for the ghee but at the same time soooo happy that it’s over. It was beginning to become a struggle waking up in the morning knowing I’m about to take ghee. The whole day surrendering to doing nothing and waiting till the afternoon when it finally digests and it’s time to regain some strength with some rice porridge.
So let me explain why I was taking ghee.. I’m doing a 21 day Panchakarma @_ayursoul_india which is a treatment which assimilates all your toxins (called ama in Ayurvedic terms/Sanskrit). It is a procedure which goes in 5 phases. Which eventually leads to total purification of the body. Not to mention all the emotional and mental things which are coming up and wanting to be released. I cannot tell you how healing it is to just go deep within and feel it all. Time to release all the patterns and habits which are no longer serving me. I’m going all the way through my ancestral lineage: releasing soul patterns and past lives. It’s deep!
Ghee is such an essential element of a panchakarma. It brings you back into balance by collecting the toxins in your body. Then the steam and massage bring it all to the stomach for the purgation day. Which is tomorrow for me. Looking forward to releasing all of these toxins out of my body! 😍🙏 Then the last step after purgation, are enemas (basti called in Sanskrit) a week long, one day oil (small) and one day herb enema (big basti) with some other healing treatment specifically for your body constitution.
Do you feel out of balance It could very well be affecting your mind more that your physical body. Which was part of my case, as I had to much Vata in me which is the air element and to much of it creates anxiety and fear.
If your digestion isn’t functioning properly (also my case) then this is definitely a sign of disbalance. Digestion- your Agni (digestive fire) is the cornerstone to health according to Ayurveda. Depending on your constitution you might want to make some adjustments in your diet and see how it makes you feel. 🌱

Here's a continuation of the last post that I spoke about in regards to grip selection. With the pull up I am using the Mechanical Advantage drop set method. Rather than decreasing the weight I increase the leverage .
Set 1: Max out reps with Pronated grip
Set 2: max out on Supinated
Set 3: Neutral grip.
Then repeat but using only your bodyweight.
It is paramount that you start Pronated. Since your already stronger with the other two grips you should rep out where your weakest link is first. It isn't a golden law but it does make a difference when attempting this method. For those who cannot do pull ups or chin ups try a lat pull down machine with the handle attachment.

What is reflexology

When I saw my pictures on the left — the “before” pics in July 2017 — I almost became physically ill. I literally felt like throwing up. I couldn’t breathe. I was horrified. I knew I was in excruciating pain every day, but when did I start to look like that When did my spine start to curve And why didn’t I notice earlier Why did no one tell me I was so sad and angry and desperate all at once. I found @painacademy that very same day. ✨✨ Now, 27 months later, I look at these awful “before” pics, and I’m grateful. Without those pictures, I wouldn’t be where I am today. Life is so much better now. I am a completely different person inside and out. Complete #mindbodyandsoul transformation. ✨✨✨ What a beautiful reminder these pictures are to breathe through our difficult moments and have hope. One day we will look back and be grateful for the moments we once thought we wouldn’t have the strength to survive. But we do. We always do. We just have to breathe through these moments, have hope, and trust in ourselves. And of course be as stubborn as I am and never, ever give up. I call that self-love. It was hope, trust in myself, and self-love that got me to that “after” picture. And, of course, I couldn’t have gotten to that “after” picture without @painacademy. I am forever grateful to @painacademy for always respecting me, accepting me, and patiently holding space for me to get there. Even through the hyperventilating moments for the 2 minute airbench. Even when I asked him to leave the gym as I tried to do the crabs. Even when I texted him from home afterwards to show him I could finally do the crabs. Always accepting. Never judging.
