Anything goes late lunch. Breakfast was bits from taster sessions some lovt cold soup, mini meringues with forest fruits, Mexican Fried rice and mini baked oats yummy but by the time I got home was hungry adain. Made a green soup inspired by @andria_slimmingworld #peaandmint soup. No spinach so made mine with celery, peas and leeks with hot green chilli and mint. 1st time trying @heckfooduk sweet fusion vegetarian sausages (1syn each) was not sure what to expect but loved it with grilled sausages. Haven't had egg salad for a while. Had boiled eggs so mashed with quark and mustard with finely chopped baby gherkins and celery sprinkled with cayanne pepper for spice. Filling and yummy.

As I am still on my partial leave on our Kitchen Maligalig Constantino (my husband)and Aeon Kirsten (my daughter) ended up creating this batches of Home Made Doughnuts 🍩🍩🍩 it has the crisp crust yet soft and spongy from the inside. They have tried working on a variety of Plain, Sugar Coated, Glazed, Caramel, Cinnamon & Sugar, Drizzled Nutella and Aeron and I compulsively did not stop having them as they are more delicious while they are hot.
So refreshing and delicious. A beautiful summer side dish! And unlike traditional tabouli made with bulgar wheat, I’m able to enjoy it because it’s #glutenfree
Cook 1 cup of organic quinoa in almost 2 cups of water. Bring to boil. Lower to simmer and pop the lid on for 14 minutes.
While that’s going, mix all your other ingredients in a mixing bowl:
1/4 cup EVOO
Zest and juice of a lemon
1 Tbs Balsamic Vinegar
1 Tbs Apple Cider Vinegar
1 cup freshly chopped Italian parsley
1 cup chopped arugula
1 finely diced shallot
2 cups diced sugar plum or cherry tomatoes
Salt & Pepper
Add the cooked and slightly cooled quinoa. Mix and serve. We had ours along side some Channa Masala and cardamom infuses rice and it was 👌🏼

I know we’re all glad that it’s Friday; but if you think about it, *everyday* is truly a blessing/gift from God! Sometimes we can lose perspective of that as we go through our daily grind...
For breakfast this morning; I topped 2 slices of toasted homemade whole wheat bread from a local bakery - with a combination of cottage cheese/fresh blueberries on one slice and almond butter/sliced banana on the other slice. .
Both toast slices were so yummy; but I was more partial to the almond butter/banana one. *I’ve used regular creamy peanut butter in the past, but I like the taste of almond butter better with the sliced bananas*🤫

Homemade tomato sauce! 👩🏻🍳From start to finish -
1. Boil several pounds of fresh 🍅 until skin starts to blister
2. Peel and quarter 🍅
3. Sauté a head of garlic (minced) in EVOO
4. Add quartered tomatoes and boil
5. Add fresh 🌱🌶🧂 (oregano, basil, s+p, chili flakes)
6. Simmer until sauce-like ☺️
7. Pour into sterilized jars & pressure seal in boiling water
Sop Daging Sapi
1/2 kg daging sapi berlemak, rebus sampai empuk (kalo saya dipresto trus disaring kuahnya kemudian direbus kembali)
3 buah wortel, potong
1 buah tomat, potong
3 lembar kol potong kotak
1 buah kentang, potong
1 batang daun bawang, iris
1 batang daun seledri, iris
Bawang merah goreng secukupnya
2 butir cengkeh
1 buah kelopak bunga sisir
1 butir kapulaga
1 cm kayu manis
Sejumput pala bubuk
Sejumput merica bubuk
Garam, gula pasir dan kaldu bubuk secukupnya
Air untuk merebus
Minyak untuk menumis bumbu
5 siung bawang putih
1 ruas jahe
Cara membuat :
Siapkan wajan, panaskan minyak lalu tumis bumbu halus tambahkan cengkeh, bunga sisir, kapulaga, kayumanis, pala bubuk dan merica bubuk, aduk sampai bumbu masak dan harum. Masukkan bumbu halus yang sudah matang ke dalam rebusan daging, aduk kemudian tambahkan garam, gula pasir dan kaldu bubuk secukupnya, masukkan kentang, kemudian wortel dan masak sampai kentang dan wortel empuk. Koreksi rasa, tambahkan tomat, kol dan daun bawang sesaat sebelum diangkat. Sajikan selagi hangat dengan ditaburi bawang goreng!
