My advice any time you are working with something that is going to test your balance and stability, always start body weight, and then add resistance.

First of all, I would like to say that we should all do our part, when it comes to exercise/physical activity, and make sure we are giving our bodies the proper care they need when it comes to REST, and paying attention to injuries. ▪️I recently experienced a SLAP tear to my right shoulder. For those of you that are unfamiliar with that term, it is an injury to your superior labrum (the upper part), from anterior to posterior (front to back). You will feel it right on the back side of your shoulder where your HUMERUS attaches to your SCAPULA (to create part of your shoulder girdle - the last part is your clavicle). ▫️Went to the Dr. because I could hardly to shoulder press, or any sort of raises for that matter, and he confirmed my suspicions, and gave me a steriod shot to see if we could get me back to "normal". 🔹Before the shot yesterday, my shoulder felt like it was at 25%. One day later, it now feels like it's at 75%, and it may continue to progress as the day goes on. The Dr told me I can go back to my normal routine, but to always be mindful of mind shoulder. "You got it doc🤙🤙". I digress😝 Anyways... 🔥SUPERSETS today🔥

About that V Taper!
Most people in the gym work to increase their 'V Taper' or Shoulder to Waist ratio and here are a few exercises I did to maximize that ratio.

1. Stomach Vacuums
Unusual but effective excercise to lower waist size. 10 seconds in, 5 seconds out. Repeat 10 times, 2 times a week.

2. Heavy Dumbell OHP
Fairly self explanatory, this is the king of shoulder development and will quickly broaden those shoulders.

3. Weighted pull ups
Same idea as No 1 but works the rear delts and lats giving you those strong lines from your delts to the obliques.

Most of all, the factor that will lower your waist will be losing body fat, so this should be the priority if you're >15% BF.

Wide grip pull ups: start hanging at the bottom and pull yourself up till your chin passes the bar and repeat!
