If it was easy everyone would do it. I make costumes for myself for events because I love it. That does not mean it’s quick or easy or always enjoyable but I love say I made this. I love saying I put blood sweat and tears into this. I have this my all, I’m not giving up. Building a business is not much different but it takes longer and the process doesn’t look as good. You can see as much. You still have to keep pushing through though. Producing healing and calming effects. Even DNA adaptations and cellular regeneration changes have been seen 🤯 Just spending 5/10 minutes per day acknowledging the good stuff will change your life. The ocean 🌊 for providing fun waves to surf on (attempt) and for being a place of total joy
My phone and laptop 💻 for connecting me to the world, loved ones and for allowing me to work remotely and have freedom

The bus 🚌 I’m currently sat on for allowing me to get from A to B easily and smoothly .
My trainers for allowing me to travel and walk around comfortably 🥰

To my boyfriend who tries to convince me that I am enough, here’s me trying my hardest:
Im fit ok my body is unbelievable if I actually start working out then other girls watch out im coming for you, my face is peng i have natural eyebrows and deep brown eyes, freckles spot my face like stars, i have long hair that’s actually in condition and isnt all dead at the ends im lucky it’s under control a lot of the time, my hips are curvy i like them even though my boobs arent huge like other girls im sure they will come over time, unlike before i can eat chocolate and a fizzy drink for lunch and not feel guilty because mentally im continuing to get stronger, yes there are set backs but i know who i am as myself and thats more than a lot of people can say that they understand themselves, im constantly learning new things about the world and myself so why end that now, the good bits are to come and me Im just going to improve so i am enough for anyone, I’m a good girlfriend when im not having a protective moment but thats only because i care a lot i went into oh my theres a threat mode and didnt know how to react, see that hasnt happened before, and my head does 360 degree spins on it too, but ik you and you know me, i dont trust anyone the way i trust you currently, i just have to believe i am enough to stop being so dumb, not a sense of im not enough for u just in general im not enough for anything but thats not true cause from now am i am 100% enough inside and out

We all struggle in life, simple as that. There are unique struggles that women experience and in talking about them, we learn that many women have experienced similar challenges. The ability to support each other through these challenges is truly a gift.
In encouraging women to use their voices and share their stories, to be heard and seen for who they are, it empowers them and others to share their stories. This creates a ripple effect of support and positivity for each other.
It is important to celebrate each other in life’s trials and tribulations. And let women know they are enough as is.

Gratitude is something I have been practising a lot throughout my 20’s and the more I have managed to express gratitude and include it into my daily life, the faster I’ve reached my life goals and the happier I have been.
The process of gratitude really is to just reflect and to recognise something that made you feel happy and then to appreciate it. If anything, it’s just a great exercise that can really cheer you up.
For me, gratitude has been a huge coping mechanism for various unpredictable situations I have found myself in and I always try and encourage friends and family to focus on the positives in a not so good situation as I have found this to be the best way to overcome and to self-heal.
As we all know, we cannot predict nor prevent bad things happening to us in our lives, but we can however, control our outlook on most situations and choose how we act and respond to them. I feel grateful for the bad things I have been through as they have moulded me into the person I am today, a stronger and more resilient person.
I look at gratitude as a way of cleansing my mind. I think of it now as a way of making space for more creative and fulfilling thoughts and I feel more at ease knowing that I can actually end my day on a more positive note.
If you find yourself feeling low in optimism, I would encourage you to adapt to new life of living and loving gratitude. Some of the simple things I like to do to express gratitude are: • Helping or doing something kind for someone
• Giving a compliment • Kickstarting my day with a positive affirmation #iamenough
• Taking a walk in nature
• Meditating 6-8 minutes a night focussing on my breath
• To smile more, even at strangers - even if they don’t smile back :) But best of all to worry less...
To worry less about the past or future and to be greatful for the now.

I came across this journal entry this morning...
I want to share this because I think this is a good example of how your mental state can fluctuate between utter despair to finding the strength to push on and be more positive.
I know I talk a lot about more positive topics, but I realize I don't bring up the other side that's not so pretty to look at.
With every success, there is a struggle that you don't see that took place to get there.
There's a "darkness" within all of us that people don't want to talk about. We don't want to see ourselves in a negative light that jeopardizes our sense of propriety.
I say, "darkness" because we are human beings and we all have both good and bad inside of us. We must learn to balance the two to be at peace with ourselves.
The struggle of life will never be over, but we have it within ourselves to become stronger and more capable to handle those challenges.
At the bottom of the entry, I made a promise to myself to find my happiness, or risk feeling empty and lost with no purpose. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I invite you to make that same promise to yourself.
🍂I promise to keep fighting, because life can be so wonderous.
🍂I promise to speak to myself with kindness and compassion.
🍂I promise to be more open to opportunities to grow as a person.
🍂I promise to find the beauty in life when dark clouds hang over my head.
