I was looking through pictures for design ideas for my daughter’s redesign and have to say nothing will be like her childhood bedroom that was painted by @atmospheric_design Teenagers just don’t say I want to sleep in the jungle and have my carpet plush like the rainforest floor. Teenagers want plugs and privacy. #growingupsucks #childhoodmemories #muralpainting #indoormural

Part of the new mural from a marathon painting weekend inside the lobby at @thelexingtonhotel! A big thanks to the hotel and to @malomarmuze for putting the wheels in motion! I had a blast and I believe I consumed all of the hotel’s coffee this past weekend ☕️☕️ Come check it out - it’s up through March! 511 Lexington Ave NYC
Just a little sneak peak into our renovations... what do you think is next
5 years ago yesterday, my loves took a head start to Indianapolis ✈️ from el Mission San Francisco, where we lived in this TIC/condo since 2006, while I was staging, selling and packing up the place! You all know that living in San Francisco costs an arm and a leg so all we were able to do in our house to make it our home was purely cosmetic and decorative after having to earthquake retrofit and bring the entire place up to code during the TIC-condo conversion process.
The Mission as I knew it was a vibrant colorful place to live! I was working in upscale art galleries as an art director at the time and my commute home from Union Square kept my passion for the arts and eyes fed with spectacular murals left and right! Some of my favorite series were the «Ghetto Frida Series» by local artist Rio Yañez... When decorating our personal interior space my desire to bring the rich outside culture in was inevitable in our cosy Mission home: My indoor mural was directly inspired by Rio’s work — in Mixed Media (broken glass used in hair and tear rendition) #rioyañez #fridakahlo #diegorivera
I was always fascinated by Frida in the first place! Not only by her art itself but her passion and heart breaking love story... Rio’s gangster series of her made so much sense to me in that district and day in age. They made me smile through such a clever rendition.
Saying goodbye 👋🏻 to an entire chapter of our lives (meeting my husband, getting married, having a child and raising her there for the first 3.5 years of her life) and community wasn’t easy or without many questions marks... Saying goodbye to Frida whom kept us company during a great deal of that time - bitter sweet! Certainly bitter sweet...
I almost didn't fit in a yoga session today since I'm out of town spending time with friends... but then I remembered that I've come this far in my first yoga challenge; I can't quit tonight! It's the LAST DAY! The past 30 days have been awesome. I really enjoyed learning so many amazing new drills that both get my heart rate up and build strength, balance and flexibility - all of which are inspired by the host, @upsidedownmama's interactive video e-book, "The Book of Creative Movement" that she just released for purchase! If you were interested or inspired at all by the flows and drills I've been sharing this month, I highly recommend checking it out! ❤💪🏼
Here's some of a 40 minute routine with some of my favorite drills of the month sped up to fit into 1 minute. Thank you so much, Holly! This was fun. 😊
Also, can we just stop for a moment to appreciate how awesome my friends' basement is.

Finally painted a piece in my apartment... and weirdly it’s not type based haha! It’s also slightly narcissistic... read more to find out why 🤣
This piece is literally me on a wall. As an Aquarian ♒️ I am an air sign. The clouds are representative of this. Yet Aquarian’s are weird... I have such a connection to water because of my sign being the “water keeper” but I’m actually an air sign... a fixed one at that. Oof!
Your sun and moon are two of the most recognized astrological symbols and also represent day/night and the passage of time. Inside the sun and overlaying the moon are the lines that compose my complete natal/birth chart. Literally me on a wall. Haha.
I won’t go into any more depth than that but it was a fun piece to design and paint! I’ve had some requests for personalized designs with individuals natal chart on it... would any of you all be interested in something like that Comment below or DM me for details!
Made art for 4 operating rooms at the new BC Childrens Hospital. I don't yet have photos of all rooms, but here's one with an ocean theme. I had sharks in original composistion, as I wanted to challenge the stigma, but was asked to remove them. I understand sharks can be scary for kids, and provoking imagery at a hospital just doesn't work. #healingart #operatingroom #bcch #childrenshospitalart #indoormural #mural #muraldrawing #oceanart
I finished up my mural project over @grandavenuepizzacompany not long ago. Swing by & support your local eccentric pizzeria.
This is a commissioned Mural on the bathroom door. One of my favorite pieces of all time! Obviously you can’t take this one home! But I’d be happy to create one for you if you are interested… #Buddha #Buddhism #Mural #indoormural
