Rest Day means an extra stretch day for me. Since yesterday was Leg Day went back to Range and Repair hip focus, and man did it feel amazing!
Looking forward to the back 1/2 of Week 5 starting tomorrow!
We often think we don't deserve it. This can also be linked to imposter-syndrome which can affect our potential to achieve more. Give yourself credit where credit is due, speak to yourself kindly, keep track of your wins, big or small and realise that you deserve your accomplishments! Not sure if this saying will ever get old - Treat yourself!

This note was from around this time last year and it's re-relevant so I'm sharing it here in case it resonates with you, too (lmk):
I'm back from an unplanned social media slow-down ~ I do this once in a while to simply reassess priorities and reality. This time, I especially knew that I needed to take a step back and I share more about this admittedly not-so-hot yet critical topic on IGTV.
Q's to self:
Am I nourishing my soul Consumption is different from fueling.
Am I present enough for my loved ones in person Let me ask them.
How's my spiritual practice going Am I reading enough from actual books and flipping through pages rather than staying locked on a screen and fatiguing my eyes (like now) Am I border-lining phone addiction
Am I allowing my ego to pump and deflate by transient validations
What's my rubric for feeling good
Where do I put up a shield and where am I porous
How often am I checking my phone
Aimless and impulsive or intentional
Am I keeping my notifications off Good.
These are some questions I have to check in myself with regularly. When I get into something, I go all in but this can backfire as well.
I'm sure we all ping-pong with this struggle.
The balance of virtual and textural.
Here and there. With-it and at-it.
Reality and commodity.
Fulfillment and emptiness.
I have connected with some amazing people here. It's a creative space where I can share bits of my passions/interests with others who are also interested in holistic wellness + beauty ~ likely, like you 😊. To keep this place as a light and enjoyable place, I have to be mindful not to get too consumed/task driven.

How do you keep a pulse on the invisible waves ~ electric currents and algorithms that are wiring us subconsciously I don't have the answers. I can only reflect.
Remember to bring yourself back to present moment often. Check in often.
And always make room to step back for a while.
It's in us and Above us. It's all we have. The good thing is, we can keep asking.
