❤️This is me and my mom ❤️ Today it's her birthday 😀. My mother doesn't have any social media but I want to let my friends know how awesome she is and how much I love her. Everyday since I was born (when she was 42😱), my mom does what she can to provide me a better future, better than the past that she had.
My mother raised me and my sister alone, with the help of all the work that she had throughout her life. She was there when I was sick, she was there to feed and cook for me, she was there to pay my studies (......) . But most importantly, she is here to give me love, that kind of unconditional love that I never felt before❤️🙏. Although all of her health problems, she is a woman full of energy and willing to help me whenever I need.
My mother keeps showing me everyday how it's possible to be an independent , strong, beautiful woman💪 ; How we can face all the strugles in life and still keep a smile on our face 😀 . It's not always easy. But despite all the hard situations that had happened, guesss what...she still loves me, I still love her and we keep spending time together. And time time is the best gift that you can share with somebody. I hope I can still spend time with you m❤️m, and give you a lot of kisses and the love that you deserve.
When I was younger, I never really understood all the sacrifice that you did in order to raise me and my sister, but now that I do, I want to let everybody know that I love you, unconditionally. Parabéns mãe linda ❤️ _______________________________

Note about breastfeeding in public. I have a lot of close ones who had a hard time wrapping their heads around it. I think the previous generation just wasn’t comfortable with the idea of breastfeeding period. They did this massive push about formula being equal to breastmilk and most in western countries were just encouraged to use that (at least from what I know from family and friend moms that are now in their 60’s.). Anyway we now know they’re not equal and nursing (if it’s an option for you) is the way to go. But as a busy mom who’s on the go, it can be daunting to nurse in public and sometimes be a deterrent to nurse because you feel like you’re confined to your own home for a year (or more!). In my own experience I have found the two shirt method to be so effective in keeping your modesty while not using a cover and still nursing comfortably. For those who have never nursed and don’t understand why using a cover is a big deal well it’s really not unless u have a wiggly baby underneath who’s overheating and pulling at it constantly. Today I was nursing Remi right in front of Trader Joe’s as we ate lunch with passerby’s galore. One guy even stopped and had a 5 mins convo with me about his dog and I’m almost certain he had NO idea I was nursing lol. All that to say... if u don’t make it a big deal, it is not a big deal. U don’t have to feel exposed or uncomfortable. You don’t have to nurse in bathrooms or in your car. And guess what If you’re well endowed and you’re showing some skin... who cares Boobs are NOT sexual, their whole entire purpose is to feed your baby. Use them for their purpose! #normalizebreastfeeding #breastfeeding #breastfeedinginpublic
