#legworkout with my new bumper plates! 👍😁 Moving forward, I doubt that I will use them for squats, because they move around a lot and I don't like to use clips when I'm lifting without a spotter. But they definitely made wrangling the bar easier for glute bridges and hip thrusts; both of those exercises remain rather awkward for me as I still need to figure out foot position, how much weight to use, what to do with my arms, etc. But the bumper plates are a step in the right direction.

it’s been along time since I’ve posted anything that has to do with my workouts. So I have been away for a little bit from the gym and I decided that I really wanna go hard this time. I don’t want to go all the hard way right away but stepping up my steps to get to my maximum achievement. In April I pushed last time 170 kg in legpress. And I haven’t been like pressing anything for a long time but I was thinking today hate let’s give this a try maybe I’m actually able of pushing more than 150 kg. I was pretty surprised that I was actually able to push 150 because last time I was just pushing 120. I will really give everything to the end of the year to see will there be any changes will I reach the 250 kg before this year ends #gym #workout #legday #gymlife #fitness #motivation #

Very excited about a new hipthrust PB on a hump day 🍑 I've managed 100kg before for a couple of reps but this time managed 4 complete sets of 5 🎉
I can't tell you enough how important it is to challenge your body if you're looking to progress. It's sooo easy to carry on at a level you feel comfortable at and feel disheartened when you don't seem to be growing/getting stronger. I've always found that you're a lot stronger than you think and if you fail, so what, at least you tried 🤷🏻♀️
Challenge yourself by using progressive overload. I like to slowly increase the weight used over time (I've also been loving 10x10 sets) but you can also increase the reps, time under tension, tempo, anything that pushes your body that little bit more. Those last couple of reps should be a struggle without compromising form.
