Our day at home expressed through use of emojis: 🧟♀️🧇📺🏀🎣🍔🍟🌪🤬🥰💩🤦🏻♀️🤱☀️⚔️🥊🛴🚲🙄💃🏻🧯🛠🩹🛁🖍🎶☠️. Happy Friday!😂
Only a week left of school holidays and then it’s back to school.
How good was the rain last night though
Bumps and ballerina skirts at Bridestowe. Penny, mama and Baby Sister 💕
It was a bit cool for my liking today in central FL (before y’all feel too sorry for me we did get up to 74 i just prefer 94). We bundled up, central FL style, and walked over to our “jungle park” with plenty of our beloved hotwheels in tow.
Max can play endlessly like this and I am so so grateful to be able to do so year round now. Unless it’s pouring or are in the midst of hurricane prep or we are at the beach we pretty much go to one of the parks every day. And it’s glorious!
Sometimes I think back to “hibernating” for 8 months out of the year with the older kids and feel guilty for not being able to be outdoors mom i am today with them, but the truth is as mothers we can only do our very best with the cards we are dealt. They (the bigs) seem like they still love me so hopefully I didn’t fail them too miserably.

And by the way, everything in life is writable about if you have the outgoing guts to do it, and the imagination to improvise. The worst enemy to creativity is self-doubt. -Sylvia Plath
Day 5 (last!) of #kickstartourcreativity talks about re-defining our success and asks the question, “what are you doing with your writing” And, at the beginning of the week, one of the prompts had asked us to figure out our writing mantra, and for me, it’s quite simple and wholly answers both what I am doing with my writing and why I am doing it. • “from the heart” •
this challenge might be over but I am so ready to continue these heart-to-hearts!
Hello weekend 🙌🏽 lots of snuggling will be happening in our household this weekend because we finally got a decent amount of snow! ❄️❄️ who else loves the white fluffy stuff!
I’m sensing an Instagram theme here 🥰🥰
Throwing it back to a family mini I did at the end of year, just look at that sweet face giving to BIGGEST smile... you can’t miss it 😁
so very proud of who is is becoming & I wish he weren’t about to be 🖐🏾😢!
as a parent I think it’s so easy to see “what they do” and not “who they are” Right but of our family he is so very thoughtful, considerate, generous and has such big feelings (I’m learning how to accept).
It’s not his grades, soccer goals (or the facts that he cries 50% of games) or witty jokes.
Praying he becomes a man who follows the greatest Man and seeks after His heart.

“Some people are worth melting for!” - Olaf ❄️⛄️
Amazing things happen in stillness ❤️
Finally tucking my boys in bed so we can start watching the Aaron Hernandez documentary on Netflix.
Has anyone watched it yet Or plan to
I love me a good documentary. If you have one you recommend let’s hear it. ⬇️⬇️ 📷: @wovenchildhood
He told me the overhead light was “the bright sun” and asked for his sunglasses. 😂😎
Another day, another ER visit 🩹
Our own primate inspired game of capture the coconut. 🌴 🥥 this was so fun!!
When I took a trip to the dollar store and saw these cute little bubbles + pencils in good sized packs for just a dollar, I knew I needed to make some cute valentines to go with them! (the little sticker boxes were found in the Target dollar spot 🙌🏼) These gender neutral printables are in the shop!
Learning about seasons and looking more at snow and snowflakes ❄️ The squirrels really learn through all of their senses, and their teachers help them to really experience their lessons in rich and meaningful ways. It’s wonderful to see their play influenced by the stories and see them deeply involved in their work.
Our squirrels are listening to tales of Beatrix Potter and this week they listened to one about a tailor, then they got to try out their hand at sewing these sweets pillows.
Good vibes bruh😎
Collecting sticks, moving sticks, making forts, spears, shelters, spoons, wands, and game pieces with sticks... all day every day ❤️😂🤷🏼♀️
The wall flower and Wonder Woman... 🌼 🦸♀️
The much needed rain finally arrived so I figured that letting the kids destroy the house to make blanket forts while I cooked a curry was the perfect way to celebrate. 🙌🏼 #rainydays #keepitcoming #cabinfever #littleclem #littleleo
“The earth brought forth vegetation, plants yielding seed according to their own kinds, and trees bearing fruit in which Is their seed, each according to its kind. And God saw that it was good”. Enjoying the goodness of God’s creation with such a wonderful group of children is such a privilege. Their minds and hearts are each so unique, and seeing their passions and giftedness emerge in the various activities and lessons is at the heart of what we seek to do.
Tuesday’s class during their lesson on survival skills 🏕
NAP. Enjoying Beethoven and his 5th symphony while nature journaling.
