It’s Monday!! And I am feeling a little burst of energy that is very unusual for me But I’ll take it! I just finished binging the second season of Shrill and it’s just such a feel good show. Who’s already done with the second season like me!
Also if you head over to my stories, I’m feeling extra curious about what kinds of minis you want to see from time this year! I’m getting ready to announce some dates and want to know if anyone can guess what’s already in store!
Have a beautiful start to your week, my friends!
do you ever get sudden urges to completely rearrange all of your furniture & decor maybe it’s because i haven’t left the house much in the last 2 weeks, but i feel like moving everything around & starting over! i am loving the valentine’s day touches scattered into the neutral winter decor on our mantle though—they can stay! ✖️
I’ve been starting to dream up ideas for another Motherhood Event this year ✨As I’ve said, lots of times, photographing motherhood is my all time favorite. I love having the chance to celebrate moms, get them in front of the camera, and give them photos that they’ll love for many years. Photos (taken by others!) of me and Lucas, are some of my most special photos to date. Even as he gets bigger, those pictures never get old.
So mamas & mamas-to-be, if you think you’d be interested in a Spring portrait session, celebrating you and your babies, tell me here!! And send me your email so I can be sure to reach out with details as I plan.
Ps: remember, this mama is expecting an end of Spring baby, so I’m thinking early April for these sessions!💕
Hands down my most favorite session ever!! I’m always so proud and happy to create beautiful images for your family. However, as an artist, sometimes everything just falls perfectly into place and I have to pinch myself that this is my job and I created what I see!
I knocked it off the bucket list, but unfortunately I think I just rewrote it in permanent marker x100 more. ⠀
I have dreamt of taking pictures against this Northern landscape since I was a teenager! There Is simply nothing more beautiful than mountains as far as you can see, crystal clear streams lined with mature sycamores, and deep thick hemlock forests tucked up in the hollers. It is a nature lovers and adventurers paradise! ⠀
Thanks to one of my favorite Bucktail High School seniors, Val, and her ability to look stunning while freezing, Sunday was a dream, at least for me. Her dream was probably a hot shower, or just some hand warmers. ⠀
This (winter) senior session was never in the plans, but it worked out to be something unique and a great afternoon of making memories. I had Val on a bridge over the river where the wind chill had to be in the teens (and tears from the wind were at a constant), we hopped on a trail and hiked through the snow to Narnia, just kidding, but it was beautiful enough to be, and we ended along a little mountain stream with icicles and mountain laurel hanging from the rock face. ⠀
If Val wasn’t so easy going I know these photos wouldn’t be half of what they are, so I want to thank her for trusting me, buying into my vision, and going along with my madness! ⠀
I hope you can finally feel your toes today, Val!
