Hey Makers, Artists, and Creators of Long Island!! A new year is on the horizon, and now is the time to pave the road to making your name known. You've mastered your craft, now you need to showcase it! And you can't rock social media if you don't GET SOCIAL.
On Saturday, December 29th, join me for a Long Island Creatives Meetup! You and fellow creatives will workshop a step-by-step branding plan for your unique style. The workshop will help you identify your avatar, stylize your platform, and get tutorials on digital tools that DO and DON'T serve you!
This Meetup is a free event, and will be hosted publicly at Brew & Bitters in East Meadow. Introductions will begin at 10 AM, followed by the workshop and a short Q&A. Light food will be provided, but it is kindly asked that all participants support the local business by purchasing a coffee or other beverage.
In addition to the workshop, you'll get to connect with other creatives and build a supportive network. None of us is out there alone. There is strength in a solid network that can appreciate, share, and celebrate our valuable craftsmanship!
All creative styles, experiences, and friends, are welcome!! Please message me if you will attend, or if you have questions.
A little timelapse for you guys! Decided on taking the screenprinting route for this piece (although I definitely want to create a solar print of this eventually, but not now because of time restrictions!) Decided on coloring using colored pencils for once, and I’m pretty content with this outcome! I might sell prints of these down the line - who would be interested if I did do that
One of the things that I didn’t expect out of becoming an artist full time is the time and energy that can be spent looking IN. I’m so thankful that my profession revolves around...me. I get to have the freedom to choose what I do and when I do it. At first that freedom seemed very overwhelming, that the possibilities were endless and at times I was fearful that my voice would be lost in the noise. Freedom and self discovery have been the greatest gifts that art has given me so far. Everyday I feel like I discover more about myself and everyday I take small baby steps toward wherever my heart leads me. I have this inner feeling of peace and faith that these small actions will lead me right to where I need to be, even if it’s to a place that I never imagined. ✨
