On a rare breakfast date exploring small town Texas, talking about the future and trying to figure out the next step. These past two years I’ve felt lost in a fog but 2019 is the year of action and that fog is going to be a thing of the past.
One of my favorite fabrics is linen. However, I’ve always allocated it for warm weather outfits. When cooler months come, it usually gets put to the side with my other seasonal clothing. But it actually can be worn in winter and worn quite well. So, I decided to share a post today on Exploring Simple with this outfit idea for wearing a linen dress in winter. @lottasclogshoplondon in Twickenham has a beautiful selection of clogs & boots, which are perfect for these colder months. 🥶 Have you visited yet! It’s run by Lotta Solderholm, the founder of @lottafromstockholm and you will often find her in the shop with her dog Pompe - so if you’re a fan of the brand it’s a great chance to have a chat with the lady herself!
@lottasclogshoplondon is open Monday-Friday, 9:30am-5:30pm and it is tucked away on Heathlands Close, which is near to Twickenham Green. From Heath Road you turn onto Heath Gardens (@refreshdentalhealth is on the corner) and then you turn right into Heathlands Close. You’ll then be in an industrial estate area and @lottasclogshoplondon is Unit 3. Their shop has a blue sign that says ‘Lotta from Stockholm’ and there is free parking. 🚗

Since it is not five but S🎉E✨V✨E🎉N years since first discovering probably my favourite brand ever I thought I'd do an appreciation post about it 💖.
It is no secret that I am a huge fan of Lotta from Stockholm clogs. I am not paid to say this because I prefer to give my recommendations for free and from the heart. I have been following Lottas since we both were new on instagram and I am so delighted to see that Lottas have grown so much. Why did I fell love
First of all I have loved clogs since I was a kid, but the clogs I wore as a child were not at all stylish. My favourite clogs then were actually my dads EU size 46 clogs which we (dad and I) wore for almost ten years.
when I was new on instagram all the cool kids were wearing clogs from a brand that sold gorgeous clogs but unfortunately for my feet and my wallet the clogs were not only superexpensive they were also very uncomfortable, sometimes even painful to wear. With the help from google I found Lottas and as you might have noticed: the rest is history. You can not find a more stylish, well made and reasonable priced clog (in my opinion) than Lottas, and what really made me a superfan was that the company was a female/family owned business plus like me Lotta is from Sweden and the clogs are made in Sweden as well. Also they have the best customers service I have experienced.
So todays lesson is the oldest one in the book: Be kind! (easy as that). When that is being said I prefer the modified version I used to live by in my many, many years in retail: Be kind, but take no shit, and wear clogs 😉. Thank you Lotta @lottafromstockholm for bringing the people well made, comfy, gorgeous, reasonable priced clogs and keeping my feet and heart happy 😘💖. Check out my celebratory stories 🎉🎈 #lovemylottas #lottafromstockholm
still finding little gems around this area we call home now 👋🏻 🌮
I wore these #mohedaclogs for the first time today and the right heel has this discolouration. This happens with all my clogs and gets progressively worse the more I wear them, as you can see in the following picture (my first ever #lottafromstockholm) ...why would this happen, I wonder @mohedaclogs @lottafromstockholm
If you're wondering why I'm laughing it could be because I just discovered by big toe was sticking out a hole in my tights 😂 ever the polished out together look 🙈
Thanks so much to my buddy @sj_strum for inviting me and because my tummy muscles actually hurt from laughing today thanks to her and her sis @mum_in_demand - also thanks to @kateandtoms for hosting us at such a beautiful location
What’s your favorite place to go to eat in phoenix Mine used to be Postinos by far. Then I found out I had celiac disease 😭 The Yard has some pretty tasty gluten free options. Just so we’re clear, my “I feel god in this chili’s” shirt is on underneath my jacket 👌🏻
Another day, another blazer. This vintage blazer is one of my favorite pieces. It’s actually a part of a two piece set that I found at @acurrentaffair this fall. The pants are glorious and will make an appearance later, I’m sure. When I wear such a bold piece, I always have to balance it out with my favorite simple items. One of these simple components are my new @lottafromstockholm clogs. I had been eyeing these shoes for 9 months. I went to countless thrift stores hoping to find my perfect secondhand pair. I set a deadline that if I didn’t find similar shoes by December 31st, I would buy them new. And I did, and I couldn’t be happier. They fill a huge gap in my wardrobe and they’re obviously precious. I’m breaking them in still but look forward to wearing them with socks. These are the classic high wood tan leather clogs. 🙌🏼 •
I’m also wearing a 100% cotton, thrifted Eddie Bauer t-shirt in Navy. It was $4, and it fits perfectly. As an accessory, I have this little gold bronze necklace from @lovishly which has “sisterhood” or “sisters” written in Arabic on it. One of my dearest friends bought this for me a couple years ago because the company donates the proceeds from each necklace sale to non-profits helping families in Iraq rebuild their lives post-conflict. I am really passionate about women’s rights, political violence, and the MENA region. I also speak Arabic (not as well anymore), and this small piece reminds me of the violence my sisters in Syria and Iraq face on a daily basis. Although I wish the company was more transparent about how the funds are exactly used, the necklace has at least been a source of mindfulness and reflection in my wardrobe. Finally, here’s another appearance from my beloved @everlane high rise skinny jeans. #DamnGoodDenim Altogether, this is one of my happiest #ootd so far.

I always have every intention of keeping this space organized. But hey, it has come a long way. 🙌🏼
I know this time of year can bring around your mad organizational skills. Let them come out!! A goal of mine for the year is to live my life with more purpose. To de-clutter. And detach myself from things that I’ve given too much thought to. Man, is it FREEING! 💃🏻 . * swipe to see a bit of the before, mine you there were two random boxes at the bottom too 🙈
My current obsessions. As a clog addict, I used to be team Sven, but as of late, converted to @lottafromstockholm. I love this brown base, they are wayyy cheaper, just as comfortable, and the quality is amazing. Even grown men compliment them. I left a meeting at work to go order them when I got the restock notification email on my phone. Also, my @fringesupplyco #fringetownbag. #clogs #lottafromstockholm #knittingbags
Spending the first day of 2019 talking about our goals for the new year and planning out all the trips we want to take. It’s a new year but we always carry the same goal of wanting to see and experience as much of the world as we can 🌎
