🍞White: most processed and refined, all the fibre has been removed during the processing of the grain. It is super quick for your body to breakdown, causing sugar spikes then crashes 😳
🍞Multigrain: more often than not, this is white bread with grains through it. Because of the seeds, it has a lower GI than white and wholemeal bread, meaning it helps to stabilise your blood sugar levels because it takes longer to break down the bread into sugars, our little enzymes have to work around these grains
🍞Wholemeal: contains all the elements of wholegrain (endosperm, bran and germ) but it has been ground down, therefore it still has all the vitamins and minerals of wholegrain. It has all the fibre from the wheat, it’s just given our digestive system a little help in the processing department, therefore it has a higher GI than multigrain
🍞Wholegrain: This is the Beyonce of these 4 breads, higher in fibre and lower in GI. It is nutrient dense (good carbs + fats, protein, fibre, vitamins + minerals) and will keep you satisfied and fuller for longer. It’s wholemeal with seeds and grains still intact-double whammy.
There is no need to cut bread out of your diet unless you have been advised by your health professional. Una combinación perfecta si de mariscos se trata , Pescado de corvina adobado previamente con culantro + ajo + curry + sal + pimienta + limón 🍋 ( bastante ) + jengibre + ajo chombo ( al gusto un pedacito solamente) , todo esto lo licuamos 👌es necesario hacerle varias rajas al pescado en ambos lados , agregar sal y pimienta por ambos lados y en medio de cada una de las rajitas ( dejar marinar maximo dos horas o si es de la noche anterior mejor ) ➡️ freír en aceite bien caliente y previamente pasados por harina el pescado 🐠 ➡️ Camarones o langostinos al ajillo : Primero debemos quitarle la cáscara y hacer una incisión en el medio de cada uno y limpiarlos quitándole la vena que tienen , una vez todos limpios lavarlos bien y luego calentar previamente una sartén agregar mantequilla sal y pimienta al gusto , saltearlos unos minutos hasta que estén cocidos ( pero no pasarlos de cocción) , eso va a soltar su propio jugo luego debes picar bastante ajo , cebolla y pimentón rojo ( todo en cuadritos pequeños) agregarlos una vez estén listos los camarones ,luego licuar agua + ajo + maicena y esa mezcla la agregamos una vez ya los camarones estén cocidos y dejar que hierva unos minutos y finalmente rectificar la sal y agregar bastante perejil bien picado ✅ Acompáñalo con arrocito o patacones ( en mi caso ) , una buena ensalada 🥗 (tomates picados + cebolla morada + pepino 🥒 y bastante limón ( si tienes aguacate ponle jeje no tenía ) #yummymummies #panamanianfood #pescadofrito #homemade #easyrecipes #lunchideas 👏🏻🤤❤️🔛🔝

This is a delicious Matar Pulao (Peas Pulao).
It has no garam masala. Because I don't like garam masala, and most days I can't be bothered to add it to my pulao just to pick it out and put it on the side of my plate.
I wonder how lonely it feels I don't really care though.
Garam Masala Is it a love or hate story for you
Here's the recipe:
4 tablespoons oil
1 small onion finely chopped
1/4 cup frozen peas or fresh
Salt to taste
2 cups water
1 cup basmati rice
Heat oil in a pot and add the chopped onion. Fry until the onion is golden brown.
Add a splash of water (about 1-2 tablespoons of water) and cover the pot with the lid. This helps the chopped onion release it’s colour and that’s what gives the rice a nice color.
Add the peas and salt, and cook for 3-4 minutes.Add the water and cover the pot with the lid.
Bring the water to a boil, and then add the rice.
Cook the rice on medium-high heat until the most of the water has evaporated.
Lower the heat to the lowest setting, and cover the pot with the lid.
Let the rice steam for 5 minutes or so, and then remove from heat and fluff up the rice with a fork.
Serve with raita or salad.

Do you love sandwich like i do todays lunch is tuna sandwich with cheese. .
Lets talk about something different today. I often being asked how do i manage everything with a super active boy ! well the answer is i don’t. “No” . If you know how my days are you probably give me an award . My house is a messy house along with piling of clothes in guest room ( i used it dumping my clothes to be folded) lets get it real , with a 10 month old or even a baby at house you won’t get done everything and it’s totally normal. You can’t expect you house look like to a instagram worthy house . Do you see my mess in insta no you don’t. So assuming i am perfect in every way possible and having decent breakfast or lunch or even dinner is a wrong assumption. No one can do that trust me . You are amazing and raising a baby to a human is already a big job by itself. Everything can be set a side while you are raising a human my fellow friends. Please don’t panic or feel in other way if your house is messy in every way possible, i got so many message every day how you doing it how you prep your meal .
Here few tips for all new mom ... - I cook twice a week or once in a big amount. Like - curry, veg , daal , prep my salad or snacks - folding clothes when taking it off from clothing rails. - drinking plenty of water. - snack on go while playing with bub. - going for walk with bub in a pram. - house chores mostly getting help from hubby . he is a life saver alhamdulliah . -keeping room clean by putting items where it belongs every time after use . .
So all mom out there take it easy . We are doing great job . Just forget about messy house or house chores ❤️
