These @lillielovesmacros buffalo chicken taquitos are where 👏🏼it’s 👏🏼 at👏🏼. Perfect lunch for a steamy Sunday afternoon. I cut lavash wrap into quarters and then filled each section with buffalo chicken. After that I rolled these babies up and set them in the air-fryer and let it do it’s magic. 8.5 miles and I didn't die.
Win, win!

Run victory for me is that the first 3-4 miles rush by compared to a few months ago. The next couple miles are very doable. And the last 1.5 miles are killer and all about my mindset. Giving myself incremental goals helps to push me forward and smash my running goals. I also listened to a book for the first time while running and LOVED it! Highly recommended it.

Currently listening to: City of Girls by Elizabeth Gilbert on Audible

Also found a tortoise on my run and of course had to snap a pic.

This is going to be one busy week, so I’ve planned a lot of simple quick meals to make life a little easier. .
➡️Breakfast will be Sausage, Egg, & Cheese sandwiches from @emmabmontgomery for a quick grab in the mornings. .
➡️For lunch, I needed something that I didn’t have to heat since I will be on lunch duty all week. So, @lorifitlife ‘s BAS topped with chicken salad or tuna salad was the perfect fit! All the volume for low calories. .

➡️Dinner will be the only thing that varies based on what my families picks for the week. My pick was the fish tacos 🌮 🤤

➡️After I plug these 3 meals into MFP, I’ll choose snacks & dessert based on remaining macros. But, I will try to keep those similar from day to day also. .

Stir all ingredients together until smooth. If too dry (depending on nut butter used), add additional coconut oil if needed. Pour into a small container, ice cube trays, or candy molds. Freeze to set. Best to store these in freezer.

Away from me and back to fitness! 
I wanted to touch on doing exercises that you don’t like

I hate this hack squat! Why? If you do it properly aka actually reach the bottom and touch the pins which no one does on the matrix it’s very difficult to load so for ego purposes not good! It hurts my shoulders on the pads. When I think about legs 2 I worry about this movement 
Some people would therefore just not do it say I’m stronger on the leg press so I’m going to avoid a certain exercise. 
What is the point in this, I know if I can get very strong on this movement my legs and quads will improve and I’d rather that then doing an easier exercise because ego wise I look stronger at the end of the day im not a strength athlete 
Ps im going to address slowing ecentric part and bouncing of the pins -

Last night, I went to a BBQ with lots of yummy food temptations, and I could’ve had more than I did choose to have, but that’s the thing with counting macros - you choose what you want to eat and what’s worth using up more of your macros for you!

I always have to remind myself, my biggest motivator throughout my journey is and must be ME. I’m not doing this for anyone else but myself. I want to lose weight and get healthy and fit for my own wellness, lifestyle, and self-confidence.

I have many reasons, and I must continue to remind myself of them all. This isn’t a short-term goal, it’s a long-term one, and I commit to making it a real lifestyle change this go-around, instead of a quick weight loss and then a quicker weight gain. .

Yesterday I was comparing myself to others. I got upset. Had to wonder why I decided to do that to myself when I’m absolutely happy where I am in life, who I am, who I’m with and what I’m doing. I would not trade my position in life with anyone else. Yet here we are... playing the comparison game. We all do it, but it’s important to try and set aside those feelings when they hold no value, no truth or bearing on me as an individual. .

When you find yourself in that position try and remind yourself of the positives and shift your mindset. I don’t want the life of other people yet there I was kind of wishing I did. Silly really. Timing and life are unique to each of us. Trust the timing. ❤️

There are some shitty trainers out there😡😡

I grew up being healthy and fit. I gained weight during a time after college.. I sometimes say I gained the freshmen 15-20 a few years late. When I got back into fitness and especially weight lifting I had a bad trainer that sticks in my mind.
.
I met him and the literal first thing he said to me was: “Don’t eat after 6 pm and start taking a fiber supplement”.
.
Here’s the thing he didn’t know because he didn’t ask anything about me: I was a full vegetarian at the time and got a TON of fiber. I was a college student and stayed up till 12-1 every night so that’s kinda a long time to go without eating.. .
I actually challenged him on those things and I remember him not really knowing what to say. I had previously studied exercise science and already had my yoga teacher cert, I wasn’t a noob to fitness even tho I was currently out of shape.
.
He also told me later into working with him (which I did for a few sessions unfortunately) to avoid spinach because it causes inflammation, and to push through knee pain I was having. 🤔🤔 That was when I stopped working with him.
.
Coaches and trainers should ALWAYS ask more questions about you in the beginning. How can I help you if I don’t currently know what you’re doing?! If they don’t ask what your current habits are, what injuries you have, how long it’s been since you’ve worked out, why you want to lose weight, is weight loss even your goal, I could go on. There’s lots of questions I ask before I start working with someone.
.
If you have a trainer or coach giving you instructions without asking anything about you first OR if you have a coach telling you to cut out entire food groups or only eat during certain hours, you may need a new coach.
.
Above all, listen to your intuition. If a relationship with a coach or trainer doesn’t feel right, listen to that.

There are some shitty trainers out there😡😡 . I grew up being healthy and fit. I gained weight during a time after college.. I sometimes say I gained the freshmen 15-20 a few years late. When I got back into fitness and especially weight lifting I had a bad trainer that sticks in my mind. . I met him and the literal first thing he said to me was: “Don’t eat after 6 pm and start taking a fiber supplement”. . Here’s the thing he didn’t know because he didn’t ask anything about me: I was a full vegetarian at the time and got a TON of fiber. I was a college student and stayed up till 12-1 every night so that’s kinda a long time to go without eating.. . I actually challenged him on those things and I remember him not really knowing what to say. I had previously studied exercise science and already had my yoga teacher cert, I wasn’t a noob to fitness even tho I was currently out of shape. . He also told me later into working with him (which I did for a few sessions unfortunately) to avoid spinach because it causes inflammation, and to push through knee pain I was having. 🤔🤔 That was when I stopped working with him. . Coaches and trainers should ALWAYS ask more questions about you in the beginning. How can I help you if I don’t currently know what you’re doing! If they don’t ask what your current habits are, what injuries you have, how long it’s been since you’ve worked out, why you want to lose weight, is weight loss even your goal, I could go on. There’s lots of questions I ask before I start working with someone. . If you have a trainer or coach giving you instructions without asking anything about you first OR if you have a coach telling you to cut out entire food groups or only eat during certain hours, you may need a new coach. . Above all, listen to your intuition. If a relationship with a coach or trainer doesn’t feel right, listen to that. . Time to get back in the saddle ✊ The last 2.5 months I've been working my heiny off and decided I needed a break from working out and tracking due to my occupied state of mind whilst learning a new job and going through the process of purchasing a property (still ongoing). It's been great to readjust and think about my goals but now I'm ready to get back to it. I've definitely still been in holiday mode since coming home from Las Vegas on Tuesday and my sleep pattern has been all over the place. 🥒 1-2 veggies and/or fruit⁣

This encourages a wide variety of nutrients and adequate fuel to start your day.⁣

You don't need to get fancy, but you do need to experiment with what works best for you.⁣

Age 19-20 = oatmeal with nut butter⁣
Age 21-22 = veggie omelette with fruit + toast or waffle⁣

When in KC... I built my days macros around this meal 😂 Burnt ends are soo delicious and so worth it. Solid story: I was texting a friend while I was out there and he said he could totally fuck up a pulled pork sandwich. Of course I had to make his day surprising him when I saw him... tragic part was I really wanted to bring him my jalapeño cornbread with honey butter. I left it on the crew van! 😭 I told him my failed plan and guess what this ninja does. Totally makes us a killer jalapeño cornbread with cinnamon honey butter. Swear it’s better that what KC sold me. I was a very happy lady.

Lemon Berry Cheesecake fat bombs 😋 What flavor of cheesecake should I make fat bombs for next?!
Ingredients: 
5 oz cream cheese
1/4 cup coconut oil 
3-4 tbsp powder erythritol 
1.5 tbsp lemon juice 
1/2 tsp vanilla extract 
Optional:
2 tbsp blueberries
.
Instructions:
1. Soften cream cheese & then mix all ingredients except blueberries.
2. Add mix to 6 non stick baking cups, each one should be slightly more than 1 tbsp.
3. Add blueberries. Add to freezer for 30-45 minutes. Enjoy!

Macros for 1 fat bomb: (Berries not included)
Recipe makes 6 servings.
Cals: 135
Fat: 14g
Protein: 1.6g
Net carbs: 0.7g
Fiber: 0g
.
By the way; I only added blueberries to half of them lol. They were good af both ways though!
Also; I used the 1/3 less fat cream cheese, so if you’re using regular, the macros will be slightly higher in fat and calories. & They get pretty solid after a while in the freezer, so I let them sit out for like 5-10 mins before eating!
One last thing.. they won’t be yellow like mine, I used food coloring just so the picture would look good 😂
