The last couple weeks have been so off my normal, and I’ve honestly been loving the freedom. I track my meals as much as I can, but I’m also more⁣⁣ intuitively eating- and it feels great. I’m focusing on eating when hungry and making sure I get my protein & water in. I’ve found a point where my body enjoys and I enjoy. I can eat out, I can drink and I’m sure as hell not afraid of carbs. ⁣But, don’t get me wrong. The goal is still the goal here. I’m just taking life as it comes and living. ⁣There is a time to be go go go, and there’s a time to let things come and go. ⁣⁣

On a real note: ⁣⁣⁣
Taking two days off of tracking, a couple days off of the gym, or even a mental check out is NEVER going to ruin progress. Your body isn’t meant to be “go go go”, and you definitely need to relax. ⁣⁣⁣⁣
⁣⁣⁣⁣
I tend to alway think if I’m not doing- I’m not making progress. Which is a huge lie. “Grind don’t stop” really means that if you don’t stop to rest and recoup, the grind is going to stop you instead. ⁣⁣⁣⁣

The holidays tend to be a season where most fall off, but this holiday season I want to challenge you guys to learn to REST when you feel you need to. ⁣Take breaks. Enjoy some good food without second guessing it. Do what makes you happy! ⁣⁣

So, I took this shot at night, when there was no light in my room.
I used Vivo Y81 and a self made macro lens to do it. 
For the lighting, I used the screen of my tablet and I had put a butterpaper on it for some smoothness.
For the base, I used the back of my other tablet which gave a glittery look to the picture and a little reflection below the spider. Moreover, I used the back as the base because it was black in color.
And the black background was obvious, as it was night😂. Hope you love it.

Ernährung bei Krankheit

Dass man, wenn man krank ist (erkältet, Grippe oder ähnliches) nicht trainieren sollte, ist den meisten hoffentlich klar.
▪️
Wie es mit der Ernährung aussieht, ist vielen aber nicht klar.
Egal ob du im Überschuss isst oder auf Diät bist:
Wenn du krank wirst / bist, solltest du deinem Körper in jedem Fall genügend Nährstoffe und Kalorien zuführen, damit er bestmöglich genesen kann.
▪️
Das bedeutet, Diät unterbrechen, Kalorien mindestens auf Erhaltung, besser auf leichten Überschuss erhöhen und ausreichend Vitamine, Mineralstoffe und Protein zuführen.
▪️
Warum?
1️⃣Das Immunsystem benötigt enorm viel Energie. Wenn du krank bist, muss es stärker arbeiten und benötigt mehr Kalorien.
2️⃣Ein Kaloriendefizit bedeutet Stress für den Körper. Stress hemmt das Immunsystem in seiner Funktion.
▪️
Daher solltest du sehen, dass du deine Diät unterbrichst und die Genesung an erste Stelle stellst.
➡️Erst Gesundheit, dann Diät.
Zumal die Gefahr besteht, dass du im Defizit bei Krankheit und fehlendem Training maximalen Muskelverlust riskierst.
▪️
Auch wenn du nicht auf Diät bist, aber keinen Hunger hast (Halsschmerzen, Schnupfen und daher keinen Appetit), solltest du sehen, dass du deine Kalorien und genügend Nährstoffe rein bekommst. Zur Not flüssig.

Bist du krank, ist das letzte was du willst ein Kaloriendefizit und ein Mangel an nötigen Nährstoffen.
Je schneller du wieder fit bist, desto schneller und besser kannst du wieder diäten und / oder effektiv aufbauen.

Für beides ist volle Gesundheit aber die Grundlage 🙌

Egal ob du im Überschuss isst oder auf Diät bist: Wenn du krank wirst / bist, solltest du deinem Körper in jedem Fall genügend Nährstoffe und Kalorien zuführen, damit er bestmöglich genesen kann. ▪️ Das bedeutet, Diät unterbrechen, Kalorien mindestens auf Erhaltung, besser auf leichten Überschuss erhöhen und ausreichend Vitamine, Mineralstoffe und Protein zuführen. ▪️ Warum 1️⃣Das Immunsystem benötigt enorm viel Energie. Wenn du krank bist, muss es stärker arbeiten und benötigt mehr Kalorien. 2️⃣Ein Kaloriendefizit bedeutet Stress für den Körper. Stress hemmt das Immunsystem in seiner Funktion. ▪️ Daher solltest du sehen, dass du deine Diät unterbrichst und die Genesung an erste Stelle stellst. ➡️Erst Gesundheit, dann Diät. Zumal die Gefahr besteht, dass du im Defizit bei Krankheit und fehlendem Training maximalen Muskelverlust riskierst. ▪️ Auch wenn du nicht auf Diät bist, aber keinen Hunger hast (Halsschmerzen, Schnupfen und daher keinen Appetit), solltest du sehen, dass du deine Kalorien und genügend Nährstoffe rein bekommst. Zur Not flüssig. ▪️ Bist du krank, ist das letzte was du willst ein Kaloriendefizit und ein Mangel an nötigen Nährstoffen. Getting ready to hit the hotel gym one last time before running errands and going back up the mountain. I was also finally able to weigh in as well - currently sitting at 136 lbs! I'm finally back to weighing what I did when I met my husband 6 years ago, but with a lot more muscle mass. .
Now to adjust my macros and begin a reverse diet to hit my maintenance macros/cals on a daily basis. After that the plan is a lean mini bulk for a few months in order to add some much needed muscle to hit some 2020 goals of mine! .

3️⃣Macros is short for macronutrients, which there are 3 of — carbohydrates, protein, and fat.

✍🏼When tracking macros, people have individual goals for the number of grams of each macronutrient they are aiming for each day.

🥦For example, if your goal is 110g protein, 50g fat, and 150g carbs per day, then you eat foods to hit those numbers. It can take lots of knowledge and tracking to get the hang of it.
.
🤔So should you be tracking macros? There isn’t a clear yes or no answer. Some of my clients thrive with it, others can’t stand it.

Pros:
👍🏼Gives you the flexibility to incorporate a variety of foods
👍🏼Clear guidelines for how much to eat
.
Cons:
👎🏼Lots of planning/tracking
👎🏼Can give you an excuse to eat foods that aren’t so healthy (just because they fit your macros)
.
❌Personally, I tried tracking macros before and didn’t love it. I ended up skipping out on eating vegetables to save up carbs to eat a cookie. I wasn’t making the healthiest choices. But that doesn’t mean it won’t work for you.
.
My #1 recommendation:
✅If you are thinking about tracking macros, try it! But just remember, you can’t throw the basic principles of healthy eating out the window at the same time.
