The hair wasn’t quite popping like I wanted so I added another layer of red. Now we’re talkin!!! Bright but you can still see the pattern underneath. ❤️👩🏼🎨🎨
Thank you to all for the love and support to bring me to my first art show. I feel proud and excited to comfortably call myself an artist, which has come from the support I continually receive from all the people in my life. I’m a very lucky lady.
It has been a short journey so far into the world of art and I’m excited to see where it takes me as I continue to share in my passion for art, creativity and the love I have for the land.
Blocking in takes aaaages because I usually decide on a colour change halfway through. I start with a rough idea of palette, but don't like to plan colours or do a sketch because keeping things spontaneous is really important to me when I paint. I'm generally a planner (see: worrier) outside of the studio, so going with the flow while painting is liberating and cathartic 🌿
Weekend... it suppose to spend a time with what you love. 🥰
The sea is always changing its mood, sometimes calm, others fierce, tossing sand ,rocks and shells upon the shoreline. Patterns form temporarily and then are erased by the next wave . Feel the motion and flow of this process in this abstract mixed media painting.
