When you have a serious sweet tooth craving, but still want to stay on track and healthy. Here's a recipe I found in my email @drjoshaxe (I tweaked a few things obviously) and used the chocolate protein, and part Brazil nuts and almonds as I ran low on cashews. And some extra dark cacao chips. But they're friggin delicious!!

Cashew No-Bake Cookies with Bone Broth Protein™ Vanilla
1¼ cups raw cashews
1 scoop Bone Broth Protein™ Vanilla (or Chocolate)
¼ teaspoon sea salt
1 cup Medjool dates, pitted and halved
1 tablespoon raw honey
1 tablespoon coconut oil, melted
In a food processor, place cashews and pulse into fine pieces. Add protein powder and sea salt; pulse until combined
Add dates, honey and oil; process until combined and sticky
Form into balls and refrigerate until ready to eat

I’ve been mass producing these MCT pumpkin bran muffins because they are rad. 🤘 Pure energy in a convenient tasty little to go package.
I’ve toyed around with a generic recipe that I found online and modified it, for what I believe can only be described as pure magic ✨
👉here’s my recipe
1-15oz can of organic pumpkin
4 eggs (only 2 yolks)
1C whole milk
3T MCT oil
4t baking powder
3C oat bran
1C whole wheat flour
Mix the first 4 ingredients, then add the rest. I butter the muffin pans a bit so they don’t stick.
400 degrees for 20-25 min

WHATS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN MCT OIL AND COCONUT OIL
what the difference is between #coconutoil and #MCToil, and does it make a difference to use one versus the other
First of all, what are MCTs MCT stands for medium-chain #triglycerides. Basically, it's a fancy way of saying it's a long form #fatty acid that you can basically pull out of coconut #oil. Coconut oil already is made up of about 50% MCTs, but in different ratios than what you get in a regular MCT oil. For example, There are 4 types of MCTs.
C6 (capronic #acid), C8 (caprylic acid), C10 (capric acid), and C12, C12 being the highest percentage of coconut oil. C12 is known as ‘ #lauric acid’, which gives coconut oil it's #antibacterial effects.
When you get an MCT oil bottle (like I have in the video), it's going to have more C8 and more C10 than regular coconut oil. . What's good about that is that in those combinations, the MCT's skip the stomach to digest in your #liver, so it will give you faster #energy than other oils. It's does this by telling your body that you want to burn fat for fuel by creating more #ketone bodies (these are what people on the keto diet really swear by for fast energy and focus) You don't have to be doing #Keto to get the effects of these.
MCT oil has a less distinct flavor, so it means that you can add it to more things like your #coffee in the morning. It also is going to help you stay full longer and it also has more #cognitive enhancing effects because it's a faster digesting #fat.
It also helps improve the uptake of #caffeine to your brain.. So if you're having it with coffee, or having it at the same time as you have other caffeinated beverages, MCT oil gives your caffeine a bit faster uptake into your #brain.
So bottom line is you can use coconut oil or you can use MCT oil, it's not going to make or break your progress.
MCT oil will digest faster, give you longer lasting energy, help you burn more #fat, and stay full longer. If you want those effects, make sure you're picking up a quality MCT oil, by making sure that it's organic, and that it's made from coconut oil, not palm oil. -
