Exciting brushes coming out of the woodshop this week!
Brad made this one by fusing Vancouver Island Red Cedar with a custom Seafoam Green/White marbled acrylic. The hair is Finest badger.
Brad hasn't had much time in the shop over the last several months so we've had very few handmade brushes available, but that changes now! Give us another week or so and we will get these listed on the website!
That's right. Criticism can be positive as well! Ask any successful person how they were able to correct their mistakes and the answer would be 'constructive criticism'.
All too often we don't want to hear the mistakes we're making. However, it's important to know what you do wrong so you can make it right.
As a singer, I tend to watch (and cringe at 😁😁😁) replays of when I lead worship or teach a song. As a business person, I ask for 2nd opinions of vlogs or blogs. So I'm not saying to do something I don't.
Be careful who you ask however. Ensure you go to someone who can be objective, is not afraid to correct you and has your BEST INTEREST at heart. Beware of those who only offer praise, praise. You'll be amazing most of the time, but no one is that perfect all the time. If you can't identify an impartial friend or relative, invest in yourself and get at least 2 sessions with a coach.
So if you want to improve and stay on top of your game, industry, profession, business - don't be afraid to accept criticism. LEARN FROM IT!

This little forest has been growing 🌲 these trees are turned by David of Turned Out Nice! right here in Norfolk. David uses any scraps and odds and ends he can find to minimise waste and then I paint every single one by hand. They are all totally unique and every one has its own quirks. #hahonline
