Are You in Need of a Digital Detox
If you have been in “Zombie Mode,” scrolling down on your phone or swiping through social media, realizing after a while that you got completely sidetracked and the work you needed to finish was not touched, it may be a sign that you are on a “digital overload”. It would be a good idea to limit the media exposure and have a “Digital Detox” to regain your focus and attention as well as to center yourself.
Try one day over the weekend to shut off all your devices and go for a walk in the park, a bike ride- or any other outdoor activity.
It will help loosen the grip that the media has on you. See if you can stay away from the electronics for a day or two. Notice how different you feel outdoors during a physical activity.

ینی وقتی غذا میخوری کار دیگه ای انجام ندی، تلویزیون نبینی، با گوشی ور نری، کتاب نخونی، و... فقط غذا بخوری و تمام حواست به غذایی که میخوری باشه، به ظاهرش، به بوش، به طعمش؛ به جایی که داری غذا تو توش میخوری (سقف بالا سرت). یه لحظه رو اختصاص بدی بهش، ده ساعت که وقت نمی بره.

We need to be confident in letting go of what no longer serves us as we evolve...including behaviors from ourselves and others that are holding us stagnant...including people that are stifling our ascension: the complainers, the one uppers , the nay-sayers, the materialists, the chronic critics, the opportunists that have been taking advantage of our kinrness. We need to let go of the parental chains over our children when they're ready to fly the nest. We need to let go of wishing the deceist were not gone and accept that grief is a part of life and that it can coexist with joy. So much that we try to hold onto...that only keeps us from creating the most beautiful life song we are here to create.

Friendship is powerful, when done correctly. When done incorrectly, it can be the most draining part of your life. In many instances, you meet people who attach themselves to you with intentions of social climbing or bettering their own image. At times they attach themselves to you because they cannot support themselves emotionally and need to vampire the energy of others in order to maintain their identity and narratives. Sometimes you become a prop in the facade of a persona that they are building to hide their truth.
I say, "Do not allow loyalty to become an enabler."
Just because you have known someone or called them friend does not mean that you are obligated to give up your boundaries and values to compensate for theirs. .
I choose to surround myself only with genuine people... people who want nothing from me, but receive my time and energy with gratitude. People I want nothing from, because I am whole in my own right. Do we give to eachother Yes. Do we share Yes. Do we love and support Yes. But we do not grip on, and we do not expect or demand. Each of my nearest and dearest is a good, strong, grounded human. Feet planted firmly in their identities, with strong powers of manifestation and personal accountability. These are the beings I choose, and we deserve eachother. .
One of the most important parts of recovery and healing is surrounding yourself with people who actively choose to be better every day. My friends are these people. Every one of them is inspiring and inspired by the others. I love us.

Shine your light...
Shifting your allegiance from external "experts" to your own wisdom on the Intuitive Eating path is not easy. So many people on this path feel like salmon swimming upstream, with seemingly every still looking for their next diet. This is one reason (there are many) a self-compassion practice is so essential. Cultivating the ability to extend yourself kindness, perspective, and gentleness is akin to a superpower in this self-aggressive world.
