My take on slow TV... something for those suffering from lockdown boredom... Link in Bio.. Me and Archie take to the garden for a spot of cooking on an open fire.
Luckily none of the neighbours spotted a fully grown man sitting in front of a camera filming himself cooking sausages...!!! T 🙂
I took out my granny’s coffee-tea set which’s 70yrs old and the set of tea spoons which were made by French craftsmen during my grandpa’s lifetime according to the famous landmarks. Enid with me sat in the backyard having afternoon tea with this antique teaset, meanwhile she petted the doggies while I read a book. In this moment of calm, I reflect on the sufferings and blessings that came my way for that past years.
Enid and I first met at my grandpa’s funeral and reunited at my granny’s, there was a gap of 16yrs. After my illness, she has been my right-hand who accompanied me go through hell to suffer a lot of pains and hardships, always stand by me. We know each other whose life is broken maybe even shattered. Her parents were dead, and I didn't have a place to called ‘home’ after my granny passed away. Our well-being as well as the comprehension of human nature comes from many of our way of apprehending the reality and destiny. We instinctively understand each other. It’s not just a perfect employment relationship between us, more friends and sisters as close as family we are. The difference is that she has a more rational personality than me, her mild diplomatic manner brought much-needed calm amid the crisis, also proficient in kendo kickboxing and fencing. She’s just like the guardian angel arranged for me by my late grandparents. And my homecook UncleL treats me as his daughter to care, sometimes he reminds me of grandpa. There is a hidden story behind some of the temperamental attitudes, which his homeless and left a few health problems after retiring from the Air Force. Actually I used to cook for myself before my injury, later UncleL took on half the housekeeper and half the gardener while he’s in charge of my diet. Enid and UncleL really share a lot of work and household for me. Furthermore my dogs loves me - Angelo’s been with me since two months old as a therapy dog, Wolf’s an 11yrs old retired police dog I adopted, Luna’s an abandoned stray dog but loves to laugh when it be with me. The people who have survived the disaster usually have a better understanding of life. We thank God for the new family in personalities we find in this congregation.

The result would be nonsensical. No surprise.
Life can't be presumed, nor can it be replayed
maybe this has been the best arrangement.
