Mommy is a cake lover, having said that, I would prefer a vegan cake and with emphasis on the taste rather than the looks.
Chanced upon @roa_midnight when I was searching for baby friendly cake for Leia’s birthday, & I was impressed by the effort the lady boss has put into the cake; eggless, dairy free, nut free, a truly vegan cake. Too bad Leia isn’t a big fan of chocolate, so I didn’t order. So Glad that I’ve gotten it for Daddy’s birthday! And we loved it! It’s not too sweet, a bit of chocolate bitterness, rich flavor and it’s healthy!!! 😋

Ava darlin’ you’re the cutest pumpkin in the patch 🎃❤️
We get asked all the time for a ‘white’ cotbed, the boori Eton is absolutely gorgeous and a bright white. We also love a giraffe in any nursery...
Prepare yourselves for some serious engagement spam... - ‘I’m not even sorry’🤣 Had the best night ever, it’s making me so happy getting messages from everyone saying they had a brilliant night! I’m so over the moon! 🌚
♡ MY FAMILY ♡
I want to make our own little family traditions now we have Edie; starting with the pumpkin patch yesterday 🎃
I think we might take her to see Father Christmas in December 🎅
Even though she's far too little to really take any of this in I think it's nice to start traditions and enjoy them each year together, looking back and comparing photos over the years ❤
Does anyone else have any suggestions of any other family traditions we could do
I really enjoyed this L O V E L Y book by Jonathan Allen. It's about a little owl who keeps being called cute by all the animals he meets. He gets more and more cross and insists he is not cute, he's a big bad hunting machine! It takes a cuddle from his mummy to make him realise that actually maybe he is a bit cute after all. Very sweet & reflects a real mum & baby relationship perfectly! (Mummy knows best, right 😂)
First experience and gut wrenching feeling that I had to pull out at mile 5.
Started well, however my shin niggles got the better of me and the shooting pain down the front of the leg was a sign that I had to stop 😔
I've cried and cried, but now as I sit on my sofa after a quick trip to A&E and look at how fantastic all you other fellow runners have done! I'm smiling and feel very proud of you all ❤
This is my lesson I've been waiting for, so recovery and I'll be back when I'm fully recovered. Slow and steady!
Thank you to all that stopped and said some positive words along the bypass. Runners community is just the best feeling to be apart of. Well done all that took part in Chesterfield Half Marathon.

I’ve honestly had the best and most recharging weekend - something I definitely feel I needed. Although I would have loved a bit more sleep, recharging for me is more about having a little ‘check in’ with myself, assessing my to-do lists and diary for the week and having a bit of time to get things done so I’m prepared for the week.
I also needed to spend some quality time with my two handsome men 😍
Couple that with pumpkin picking and you have one happy gal! ❤️🎃
Who needs the gym when you have a toddler with endless energy 😰🤼♀️
FROM BABY TO BOY 👶🏽💙.
The amount of people who have said: “he’s getting big” or “he’s becoming a little boy” or “I can’t believe how much he’s grown” over the last few days is crazy.
I suppose it’s inevitable when you have a child, but they really don’t stay little for long.
I remember when Dexter was first born and I felt overwhelmed by the dependence that I felt from him.
Then all of a sudden this little personality comes through in the form of wanting to hold his own spoon or toothbrush etc.
Your heart breaks a little because a small part of you secretly doesn’t want him to grown up 😱😭.
No matter how old he is, he’ll always be MY baby though 💙
I AM... Start your day positive, being kind to yourself first 💖

I dont know about you, but as a mum, I find myself always putting other people first. Whether it be the health and well being of my children, my friendships, relationships and sometimes even strangers.
I like helping people, I also think of myself as a pretty caring person, so I think its just natural, but today, I was reminded that "you cant pour from an empty cup" and it's so true.
Sometimes you get so caught up in making sure everyone else is ok, that the kids are fed, bathed, have clean clothes, a nicely packed lunch, that they are at school on time, dont miss sport, birthday parties and the 101 other things kids seem to have in your calendar, that you forget to take care of yourself.
Sometimes all you need is a cup of tea in dead silence, to ground yourself and get back to things with a clear head. Sometimes you need to bury your head in your pillow and just have a good cry and this is ok. No matter how hard we try, we are not perfect, we all have bad days and we all need to take some time for ourself.
What's one thing, big or small you plan to do for you this week Are you an excercise junkie and love a good run Do you like to indulge in a glass of wine or coffee with friends Do you just enjoy some time to yourself
This week make sure you make some time for yourself, even if it's just 10 minutes to have a hot shower and wash your hair.

🚨 Long post alert. It’s about special needs parenting.
Last night was insane! Dominic had the biggest meltdown he’s had in years. It really took us by surprise. And we’re all feeling a bit fragile today.
We’re having scheduled power cuts and last night there was no power from 8 until 10. We told him about it in the morning and he was stressing about it all day. He hates the dark. On a side note, my husband and I have been discussing telling them the truth about things that worry them or rather telling when it’s about to happen. Thoughts
Anyway, so it started out ok. We played charades and Dominic seemed fine. He was a bit amped up, but no more that usual. Oscar fell asleep on the couch and we took him to bed. But Dominic started getting more and more upset as we got closer to and then passed his bed time. He finally went to sleep, but then the lights came on and gave him a huge fright. Then he had an epic meltdown of about an hour. It was hectic! He was screaming to watch tv and saying that he didn’t want to go to bed. Eventually we gave in and finally he fell asleep.
Episodes like this can really knock your confidence as a parent. Twice I lost my cool. And my husband and I were both shouting at each other. When Dominic finally fell asleep, I had a good cry. It was because I felt sorry for myself, worried about Dominic and felt angry at my husband.
But this morning we woke up and all was mostly back to normal. I went for a run and cleared my head. Dominic has been playing and building all day. And my husband and I have decided on some ways to deal with this in the future.
The moral of the story Well, I guess that every day is a fresh start. And kids don’t bear grudges. It’s ok to get sucked into a dark hole at times. But do what you need to do to look after yourself and your kids. And working together as a team with your partner is a must.
How do you deal with meltdowns

William was so excited to see his cousin, auntie Sarah and uncle Jack Jack today he waited at the window for an hour to see the car pull up. They really are cute together it’s so nice to see them play, with the occasional fall out then play again just like their mums used to 🤪
