Hello lovely! How was your Sunday⠀
Ours was exactly what I needed. A sleep in, Vitamin D time in the waterpark with the boys, a bit of rosé as the sun sets... batteries recharged! Just in time for hubby to go to Sydney for the entire week 😳 Anyone want to come live with me this week and help with the baby 😂⠀
Florals for Spring. Groundbreaking. But why break ground... when it works it works! And this @tsid_clothing Ava dress WORKS! 3/4 Sleeves, high low hemline, frills, florals.... Yas! [Sz12 $59.00*] It also comes in mustard. ⠀
Size Reference: 165cm | Size 12 | E Cup | Size 7/38 Foot (Wide Fit). *Denotes gifted item.
I am mad about this new top, which I bought recently courtesy of @suerydercharity.(This is absolutely not me now - as much as I love it, nothing beats the lure of jimjams at this time on a Sunday morning!)
I’m a bit sheepish to admit that whilst I’ve made many purchases in vintage shops and had bits and bobs from eBay, I’d always been a little sniffy about charity shops for clothes. Vintage glasswear, which my husband never fails to be enchanted by, yes, but clothes... I wasn’t too sure. .
However, I’ve been inspired recently by some of the Instagram ladies whose style I really enjoy - @mylillookdiary @stylemeonashoestring @alwaysafashionparade - to name a few, who are forever showing off gorgeous preloved finds they’ve made in their local charity emporiums, and decided to have a rifle. .
I found a new-with-tags sparkly @warehouseuk beauty which will do me nicely, and this, whose label-less provenance I neither know nor care about. From the shoulder pads, I like to think it might be 80s and imagine someone with gloriously bouffant hair wearing it to a cheese and wine party. It’s silk and beaded, with a lovely pointed hem and sleeves ➡️➡️➡️ and weighs as much as my cat. I truly love it. And it was £5 🙌
I shall be going back: @a_pop_of_pippa_colour - I live in the hope of finding something as fabulous as the combos you sport daily! 🤞

This isn’t the kind of photo you’ll see often on my feed ... but seeing as I went so far out of my comfort zone meeting a group of fashion bloggers on Thursday, I thought I’d carry on being brave and stop hiding behind my boys for photos.
So here’s me in my lovely pink teddy coat, which I’ve had loads of compliments on and have responded to each one with “it was only £29 from @fandfclothing at Tesco!” 😂
I’d never make it as a fashion blogger!
We arrived in the rain last night but today it’s all ☀️👙💦🏝 Bon dimanche les filles!
Hello new followers and old ones of course! I wanted to say hi 👋 and explain a bit about myself. My name is Bronagh. I’m 36 (WTF) sometimes I forget my age and think I’m 37 and have to ask Ben how old I am. That shows how much is going on in my head, I haven’t got the space to remember my own age 😳. Ben is my husband. He doesn’t get insta and hates the majority of my clothes but I still love him. I’m mummy to Dolly (almost a threenager) and Hugo (almost 4 months). I’m a freelance fashion and celebrity stylist. Have a look at my website bronaghmeere.com to see more about my work. It needs updating but you’ll get the idea. I worked at heat magazine for 6 years and went freelance 10 years ago. I started whiledollysleeps when Dolly was a tiny baby because I was a bit bored and a lot lonely. I grew up in Hampstead, went to school in Euston, spent a lot of years out and about in Camden, Archway and Holloway like most NW London Irish do (my family are Irish) and moved to Kent when I met Ben. Whiledollysleeps started off being about what Dolly and I wear and want to wear but since meeting lots of mums on here it’s become a bit more about my messy mum life too. I apologise in advance for my stories. I seem to use them as therapy at the moment. I love to talk but when your only company is a toddler and a newborn for the majority of the day the conversation is pretty limited so I chat a lot on stories and love it when you lovely lot respond. I also worry inside about how I come across (oh the anxiety) but then go back for more. I guess people wouldn’t watch it if they didn’t want to, right 🤷🏻♀️ The fashion part to this page is all about my style. For work I style to a brief from my client but this is different. This is not me saying you should wear that with this. You have to pay me for that type of advice 🤣! This is my style. I’m the editor. Some will like it. Some won’t but that’s what fashion is all about. Anyway I’m rambling now (you’ll get used to it) but I hope you stick around. It will be fun. Have a sassy (yes I did use that word 😂) Sunday gang 😘♥️ P.S. I also sell my own T- Shirts...link in my bio ♥️

| MumStyle • Minimalism • Colour |
Minimalism it’s a funny thing. It has different meaning to different people. There is no right or wrong. It’s about making conscious decision, not just compulsive consumerism.
I’ve been practicing minimalism for almost 6 years. Wayyyyy before it was cool. 😎
You may think minimalism means living a boring and uncontented life. It’s quite the opposite really. It’s about living a life with intention & purpose. Reducing the clutter and surrounding yourself with those that make you happy (things included). One of the first places I practised minimalism was through my wardrobe #mumstyle Most minimalist wardrobes I’ve seen online are pretty basic with lots of gray. Mine on the other hand resembles an explosion at a paint factory. I wear a lots and lots of colour #JoyfulMama
Why Colour 🌈
Before I became a mum, I was a #CorporateMama Work dictated a dress code of mostly black&white with perhaps a bit of navy thrown in. When I became a mum, I decided to change things a bit. Be true to myself. Now don’t get me wrong I know a lot of ladies that love neutrals and look amazingly fab in them. It’s just NOT for me. Colour just makes me happy #DoWhatMakesYouHappy
Cloths that you wear are the closest to your skin. Closest to the authentic you. You are happiest when you are true to yourself. You may not realise it, but how you present yourself authentically flows on to other areas of your life. •Is minimalist wardrobe with colour do-able•
1/. It’s easy to maintain a minimalist wardrobe with colour & pattern. Pretty much everything you own goes together, just mix and match.
2/. Colour and print are great at hiding that wheetbix smear and those little chocolaty fingers #mumlife
3/. Yes, I do wear the same things over and over again. I know my friends notice. But I’m ok with that.
4/. No, I do not get sick of the sameolsameol. I love what I wear.
5/. I keep my accessories neutral, they are usually investment pieces that I’ve owned for years and years 👛
So tell me has your wardrobe changed since becoming a mum

Is Sunday night bath night at your house ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I know a lot of people do kids baths every night. It might shock some people but we don't always manage to get Lucas into the shower every night. #busy ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I do love to throw him in so he is clean on a Sunday. Purely for my own benefit of course. I love when he's clean! And if he's had a shower he gets into his PJ's and we are all set for a nice relaxing Sunday evening. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
It's nice to have bath time when you're not rushed isn't it! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Not one mention of - baby shark doo doo - oops. 😂 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The Lissy Dress is named after a Mum who in the time that I can feed and clothe a baby manages to shower, dress, feed 4 kids, get one to school another to kindy then pick up a coffee and bring it to me!! A dress is the least you deserve named after you! #mumhero @lisssyy_ 😘
Beautiful couple of days spent walking around Sydney, laughing till my face hurt, eating a whole lot of food, enjoying a very rare sleep in & feeling bubs start to move in my belly. A weekend well spent

I was given the honour of making a birthday dress for a special little MBL lover. The brief was to use Tula Pink Selfies fabric but the design and other fabrics were up to me. This is what I came up with. I’m absolutely in love with my creation and can I say it looks amazing on our birthday girl too 😍😍
Stay tuned for tomorrow to see who the lucky birthday girl is 🎂
Your child will begin to recognise different colours by around 18 months. You can help your toddler to learn colours in everyday scenarios. Point out the colour of the sky, trees or their favourite toy. You can even use mealtimes to talk about the colour of the food such as red watermelon or orange carrots! #childdevelopment #colourrecognition #lellow
