Are you leveraging social media as a part of your overall marketing plan
It takes more than just posting to social media to attract clients. Make sure you are leveraging social media to tie in your offers, build your email list, and build community.
Here are 3 ways to leverage your social media account to connect with clients:
1 - Have a Bio - Stop putting just your name in your bio because no one outside your friend circle knows who you are. Optimize your profile to state who you are as a business professional and what a potential follower can expect to see if they follow your page. Check out my video from a previous post where I give tips on how to optimize your profile.
2-Lead Potential Clients Offline - The funny thing about social media is none of your followers belong to you. If Instagram shut down your account today, you would no longer have access to your followers. Create a downloadable offer that requires potential clients to opt in to receive. This way you give potential clients value, capture their email address, and can now communicate with them offline.
3- Don't List Your Website As A Link - Create a Landing Page that takes potential clients to a list or menu of your offers or a single offer. If you direct people to your website, they will leave the minute they get confused and can't find what they're looking for.
These 3 tips are just scraping the surface, but gives you a starting point to leverage your social media profile.
