Here’s my problem. I can make a bowl look all nice and “Instagram worthy”, I am happy doing that, I actually LOVE that, but then comes the photographing part and things start going downhill. Who actually has the time to make a whole background set up, arrange things to the millimeter AND clean all of that AND also eat the meal IF (obviously) it’s not an actual job / for a recipe on a blog. I mean, I like taking photos of things I actually eat in that moment, not make this completely different thing just to take the photos than do whatever with it. And obviously when I had this in my hand, and I hadn’t eaten anything yet, so I want to dig in ‘cause ya girl woke up late, it’s 12 30 and this thing is breakfast (which was a dream btw). So yea I am sorry that I don’t have fancy backdrops with a bunch of props on (pretty much) any of my posts, but I think it’s not realistic for me NOW. Not saying I don’t like that idea, I would love to embrace it and explore it more, but I am rushing a lot when it comes to my cooking at the moment. Taking x amount of time just to prep my food would make things a lot more stressful and I just want to go with the flow. I like this style for me actually, but I am sorry if it gets boring. I want to spice things up and add new features to my page, touching other things that interest me (like fitness and the gym, which I my true passion right now and nutrition in general). I have to get my shit together though, and find a place to start, because I don’t actually know what would interest you from what I love doing. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Don’t know if that made any sense, but also wanted to say that eating from bowls (specifically @coconutbowls) brings any food to a whole new level. Like seriously, I feel so much more satisfied after eating from bowls Yes it’s in my head probably, but I just love it and it’s pretty much the only way I’ll have pancakes for breakfast 🤷🏼♀️ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I’d love to say I nailed a pancake recipe, but that isn’t the case, I just used a pre made mix, added protein powder, salt, apple sauce and almond milk and boom, perfect lil cakes. Details in the comments, because I rambled too much here 😂 see youuu.
