Little robin finished. I created a background for him which is unusual for me when I draw animals...I’ve always tended to leave the backgrounds plain. It’s funny we refer to a robin as red as those feathers are so much more orangey than red...but ‘red’ maybe had a better ring to it 🤔❤️💛 #feedthebirds #robin #robininthesnow #loverobins

What’s a winter Sunday that doesn’t start with a robust coffee in bed We like our winter mornings spent with our toes curled in, and hands wrapped around our Agua Tierra Cafe Mugs as the gentle warmth from seeps into our skin. Handcrafted with care, accented with 24K gold and imprinted with our signature motifs that are inspired by our love for the seven seas and the shores that hug them, shop the set using the link in our bio.
Something that angers me about shirts: they always have some weird phrase on them. So I started this shop. @Intentionalitee has minimalist designs. I know shopping small is hard, but I try to be affordable. I hope everyone enjoys these shirts as much as I do.

* Nature doesn't have edges. * This was the most beautiful, thought-provoking sentence I've heard all week. What tickled your brain this week and which day do you consider the beginning of the week For me, Monday, always.
"Nature doesn't have edges. Humans like to think there is a clear demarcation between one species and the next, between one gender and the next, between one season and the next. But when you look closely, these categories get blurry, especially at the boundary between category A and category B." – Shankar Vedantam [host of Hidden Brain podcast < Nature, Nurture, And Our Evolving Debates About Gender]
That’s a wrap... last event of the year! Thank you all for supporting your local makers and artists, we appreciate you and wish you the best in 2019!
Silver fir (Abies alba) commonly used as Christmas tree is an evergreen tree that has a strong fragrance and curiously, some of its brother species were used to make beer.Furthermore, Abies alba means "rising bright", a pretty interesting taxonomic name.

I always enjoy playing with this resident school of moi (Polydactylus sexfillis)🌞 This shallow water species occurs along sandy & rocky shorelines, often in areas exposed to breaking waves.🌊 When searching for food, they keep their lower pectoral rays in contact with the bottom, similar to the chin barbels of a goatfish.🐐🐠 They mostly consume crustaceans like shrimps and crabs, but also prey on polychaete worms and other benthic invertebrates.🐛🐚 The closed season for fishing moi is June to August.❎ At any time of the year, any fish that measures 11 inches or less must be released in order to allow the fish to grow up and become a reproductive female (they are hermaphrodites and all start off as males!)🎣 You are only allowed to catch no more than 15 moi at a time.🚫 In early Hawaiʻi, the moi were only reserved for chiefs. The Hawaiians recognized the importance of the different life stages of the moi and had a name for each growth phase: moi-li‘i (juveniles), moi mana (males), pala moi (hermaphrodites), and moi (big females).💖
