📗 Firstly break you goal up in to small goals that progress and lead to the ‘end goal’ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
📘Secondly Plan! Know exactly how you are going to go about achieving the goal. Plan what you are going to eat in the week plan what you are going to do in the gym that day and at what time. Plan is key! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

📕 Lot of people head on holiday for the Christmas break. Some times access to a gym is difficult! Now that won’t be a problem the only equipment you need for this workout is a deck of playing cards! Plus it’s fun for all the family 😜
📗The way the game works is. Draw the cards one by one at random. Each suit represents a different exercise. ♣️Squats, ♥️ Sit-ups, ♦️Push ups, ♠️ burpees. Then the value of the card equals the reps. A=11 K,Q,J= 10. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Recently been talking to a few people about Seasonal Affective Disorder here is some information about it :
What causes SAD
The exact cause of SAD isn't fully understood, but it's often linked to reduced exposure to sunlight during the shorter autumn and winter days.
The main theory is that a lack of sunlight might stop a part of the brain called the hypothalamus working properly, which may affect the:
production of melatonin – melatonin is a hormone that makes you feel sleepy; in people with SAD, the body may produce it in higher than normal levels
production of serotonin – serotonin is a hormone that affects your mood, appetite and sleep; a lack of sunlight may lead to lower serotonin levels, which is linked to feelings of depression
body's internal clock (circadian rhythm)– your body uses sunlight to time various important functions, such as when you wake up, so lower light levels during the winter may disrupt your body clock and lead to symptoms of SAD
It's also possible that some people are more vulnerable to SAD as a result of their genes, as some cases appear to run in families. 😊Remember being around positivity will help, keep busy with fun activities or just reach out to a friend, my inbox is always open if you need a chat 😊

📕 People may say the plank is old school and you shouldn’t do it as an exercise. Sod that it may be old school but if done properly and used effectively it’s still on of the best core exercises around. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
📗 The main focus is to make sure you create tension through your midline, not in your lower back or shoulders. A good cue I like to use is imagine you are trying to shorten the distance between your belly button and sternum (breastplate). ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
📘 The common mistakes I see are. Hips rising to high in the air, therefore reducing the strain on the core aka being lazy 😂. Secondly and probably the most common is the sagging in the lower back meaning they have lost tension in the core and now using their lower back to take the strain. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Hello!!!! So thought today I would do a little check in with myself over a stone up 🤪 exactly a month after the @pca_official Finals. Home truths iv eaten like a 🐖🐖🐖 and training has been up and down here are some excuses ~ im in the middle of moving house hence the mess 😂, Im building a business, some days I feel sorry for myself blah blah staying positive about body changes is super important as it can bring you down especially after a show and being shredded!!! Im starting to control my eating (ish) and smashed an awesome leg sesh today ~ gains are happening but we can do better!! Abs are under there blanket but the boobs are back 👌 Happy offseason try to embrace it ❤
Thank you to everyone who voted looks like its a landslide 😂😂 now there wasn't really enough info in that question ~ yes I agree having a snack is fine 👌 those on my plans will know this and see there are a variety of snack options available 😍😍 however its easy to snack wrong even when you think you are having the right stuff 🤔 its very easy to go over board so portion size is important, its also easy to grab a 'quick' snack thinking its ok 'one wont hurt' but thats when we spiral ~ plan, prep, progress 🙌
