Hello there!👋 .
I'm Jess, of Jess Sinatra Photography! Just a little introduction Sunday with me and my best dog Norbert here. I love dogs, and when I am excited my voice usually gets really high-pitched and I might even squeak! I love editing photos! I hate Chinese food, I love hockey! I am originally from Buffalo, so I am a Sabres fan through and through; Don't hold that against me please! :)🐃
Before becoming a wedding photographer, I was a veterinary technician; so obviously animals are still something I am super passionate about. I shot my first wedding in Buffalo in 2012 and I loved every second of it. After moving to Boston, I continued to shoot weddings for the extremely talented Brit Perkins❇️
This year after much encouragement from my husband, I have decided to make the leap into running my own business. WOW. I honestly never thought I would be here! Shout out to all my future brides!😘
I always thought photography would be just a hobby of mine and here I am, super excited and passionate about making it my career 📸
At any given time, I am usually on a hike with Norbert and my camera or cooking (another passion of mine), being that I am a Sinatra (best last name ever am I right), making homemade pasta is my jam🍝
I absolutely love the snow and winter, and wish there were more winter weddings! Also, I will only drive standard cars and you can win my heart with baguette🥖
Alright, enough about me! I want to hear from you. One random fact about yourself... ANNND GO!
Have I ever told you guys about my OBSESSION with veil shots Well, I have a love of all and every veil shot! So yes, if you're my bride, be prepared 😁
Since I have some new friends here I figured I'd share some fun facts about me.
(Also every time I post a photo in this shirt I get asked where it's from. I linked it in my bio. IT'S MY FAVORITE! and no I'm not getting paid to say that.)
I have a scar on top of right cheek from being pecked by a chicken as a child (Uruguay life).
My love for chickens started young.
I love coffee, but it takes me almost a full day to drink a whole cup.
I often find it in the microwave the next day.
I can't work without a candle lit. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I moved from Uruguay when I was 6, and 98% of my family still lives there.
Since I have very little family here I deeply value my friendships.
I'm a professional great food finder (legit).
I really, truly love great food that I do not know how to make.
So on an odd chance that I get to have a date night with my husband, finding a hidden gem with great food is one of my favorite things to do.
Your turn: tell me one random fact about you.
Hello, Friday, my old friend... ❤️

Wedding photographers do your 2019 goals include eating cake at every wedding you photograph
Oh same here. 😊
For real though.
I'm on the less cake eating, more active lifestyle right now.
At least before wedding season starts.
I finally hit the gym today without any of my children peeing themselves.
2019 is turning around.
Mixed Greens+ Chèvre+Strawberries+Walnuts+ Strawberry Vinaigrette😍
Is it wedding season yet I am dreaming of warm weather and I am itching to use my camera. I can only take so many photos of Norbert before he's annoyed with me, and I am bored creatively. Anyone have any ideas on things or people to shoot 📷❤️
Wrapped up in love 💕
Samantha had such a unique vision for her wedding, especially when it came to photography. She wanted her photos to be timeless, yet different than the typical wedding shots you'd expect to see. To prioritize this, we made sure she had plenty of time before the ceremony to play around at some amazing locations in Gloucester. Trust your photographer, step outside of your comfort zone a little bit, and you are sure to be wowed 👏
Cheers to 2019!
How was your first day of 2019!!
I've been hanging out in Maine with my family, but now it's time to get back to work.
Excited for some new perspective, as well as working on some new goals.
I love a fresh start and seeing everyone excited for some more improvement/growth.
Happy New Year!
Goodbye 2018! Here's to 2019!
2018 was a profound year for me. Of course, I married @mrevantperry and adopted @acatcalledove and those moments definitely rise above the rest, but professionally, I made the complete transition into photography. It's something that I never thought I'd be able to do. Early on, my family told me that I couldn't be a photographer, that I should get a 'real' job. And so I went with my second choice of career and spent 12 years as a vet tech and, as anyone in the field can tell you, it's a thankless and grueling job. It has many rewarding moments, but far too many sad ones. Sometimes you just can't help. So when I met my husband a few years ago, he showed me that I could turn my photo hobby into something more. I started working with the amazing and talented @bperkphoto who helped teach me and inspire me more than she will ever know. And this year, I have successfully set out on my own with a mission to capture important moments in family life and dog life 🐶. I look forward to all the great people and dogs I will meet in 2019 and whatever projects that come my way, staying focused on the moment! 📸😊
Happy New year everyone!! 🎥@mrevantperry 😘😘
2️⃣0️⃣1️⃣8️⃣ Sure was a great year! Thank you and congrats to all my wonderful couples who got married this year and allowed me to be part of their special day!
To those who let me be part of your baby showers, birthdays, proms, holidays, anniversaries or those “just because flowers” thank you!! Lastly, my floral design workshops!! (Overcoming my fear of public speaking and all the incredible woman who came out and supported me)
It’s because of you, I get to continue and grow my small business🍾🎉 cheers to you I’ll see you in 2019!
It's almost time to say goodbye 2018! Who has resolutions they are planning on starting in 2019 .
I personally think we should start this year with a simple quote...
Let our New Year's resolution be this: we will be there for one another as fellow members of humanity, in the finest sense of the word
2018 has brought so much love! As a Life-Cycle Celebrant with Chosen with Bonnie I have fallen in love with the following couples: Beth and Bill, Betty and Bobby, Briana and David, Brooke and Nadim, Cassie and Tony, Deb and Tom, Dennis and Jessica, Elizabeth and Tom, Erin and Brian, Gary and Julia, Kimberly and John, Kristin and Ryan, Lauren and Tanor, Margot and Joshua, Marianne and Chris, Meaghan and Sean, Patti and Scott, Perri and Sam, Sam and Eric, and Veronica and Patrick. You have opened up your hearts, shown your vulnerability, set visions for the future and allowed your loved ones to bare witness to it all. It has been my pleasure to hear your stories and to weave your individuality and shared hopes into ceremonies that have captured the hearts of all you hold most dear. I have had the pleasure of celebrating the life of Greg, who lived and loved well. The nine top photos below capture this year. Looking forward to 2019. Who got a ring over Christmas 💍💍😍 Tis the season for popping the question . . . And if you'd like a photog there while you're on bended knee, go ahead and message me! 📷💕
I proposed to my future husband @mrevantperry on the couch when the ring I ordered for him came in the mail. We shared a kiss and the sniffles. Yep: We had a cold. Uber romantic 😁 He had his own plans, but I won the ring race and the rest is history. Honestly, a proposal should be as unique as the couple and while my husband was a tad disappointed his over-the-top plan didn't come to fruition, but we both agree that the moment was exactly us.
I hope everyone had a great holiday!⠀
If anyone needs me I’ll be laid out from the food, for a couple more days. ✌🏻
Merry Christmas Eve! Evan and I are currently stuck in snow traffic to see family. Hopefully it clears up soon! Driving back home to Massachusetts tonight and can't wait to be home, warm, and yes you guessed it... Editing! I might be a little addicted to editing but I mean come on... Look at these two!!
I hope little Emerson has the best 1st Birthday party today!!
Hi Ho Hi Ho it's Friday don't you know! Not only is it Friday but it's a holiday weekend! Woo hoo Evan and I will be driving our way to Buffalo tomorrow evening.
Where is everyone else off to this holiday season
