Byron had been blessed with beautiful sunshine these last few weeks and we’ve loved spending our spare time finding the best swimming spots... the Tea Tree lakes is the most magical of them all ✨
After a long soak in this medicinal water you’ll come out feeling fresh and revitalise 🌈
Sunny Sunday’s in paradise 👌⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Hope your weekend was a good one 🍻
I don’t know what I want to do when I grow up 😳🤯.
I mean, I have a list - write a book 🤓, raise a beautiful family ✨, travel to lots and lots of faraway places ✈️, be surrounded by people who inspire me 🌸, be happy and fulfilled 🥰: but my five year plan doesn’t exist, because truth be told I think such a thing is a bit outdated. For almost all of the people I admire, where they are right now is nowhere CLOSE to where they thought they’d be five years ago: and in most of those cases, where they are now is so much more dizzyingly brilliant that it’s hard to even imagine them landing where they planned to. Five years ago I thought I’d own a shop right now, selling candles. I’m really glad I don’t! Ten years ago my dream was to be a lawyer with a tailored pantsuit and a personal shopper 😂🙏🏼; can you IMAGINE!
It used to be normal to step into a career at 20, work until you’re sixty and then wonder where the time went. I have so much respect for people who have clear vision but I am not one of them at all 🤸🏻♀️.
I once read that it takes nine years to become really REALLY good at something 💭; which means that if we ‘work’ from ages 20-83, we can have seven different lives: an author, an entrepreneur, a nurse, a mother, a circus performer, a foster career, a whatever we can dream of. In this one life we’ve got, that thought to me is pretty electrifying ⚡️⚡️ and it’s for that reason I don’t know what I want to be when I grow up, and I’m so thankful to be giving myself the room for that to be the truth 💕🌈🙌🏼✨🌾 #sundaythoughts
