I made my first home cooked meal in my new home today! Inspired by @sammibrenneman and @oneplateaway (and the fact that I only have a left behind pizza dish and a new but small dying pan) I made it in one dish. Thankfully the pizza pan has a nice curve so the garlic-herb butter and the lemon juice did not escape. Oh and @oneplateaway, I paired it with a New Zealand Sauvy B baby!
Blueberry chicken... Who knew!
Well, I had last minute guests come over last night so I did a kitchen raid... Salty, Capers. Depth in Anchovies. Make it a full meal with Potatoes. Onions&Garlic = essential base... Thyme and seasonions...But I wanted something slightly sweet and maybe a bit sour.... So added a punnet of Blueberries I had in the fridge, and it turned out DELICIOUS!!!
I cooked it in the oven for 2 hours and the juices that came from the chicken, anchovies and capers were yumm, but the Blueberries added such a great taste! Try it!!!! 😋😋😋😋😋 (topped with homemade preserved lemons to serve) 👌🏽
Sausages and home made beans by Davina McCall. Fry your sausages. Cook some tinned tomatoes with canellini beans and an onion, 1 tsp of maple syrup and paprika. Delicious and healthier because it has less sugar than Heinz beans. #onedish #onedishisallittakes #learningtocook
Is Instagram being weird for anyone else today
I’m really upping my lazy game and made this One Dish Chicken, Black Beans, and Rice where the rice cooks in the oven as the whole dish bakes. *
