🇬🇧I’ve never been a big fan of oysters and always wondered why people like them so much. 🤷🏼♀️
I did taste them in a perfect setting for the first time: in the right place, at the right time (here in Brittany in September, during the oyster season). But I guess it’s an acquired taste, and it took me almost 20 years to finally appreciate them.
Now I am lucky to be back in Brittany to be able to enjoy one of the freshest and best oysters out there.

Но видимо, это тот случай, когда ты это любишь, либо ненавидишь, среднего быть не может. И наконец сейчас, через почти 20 лет, я их оценила.
Сейчас мне посчастливилось вернуться в Бретань и насладиться наисвежайшими и одними из лучших устриц.

Los Vietnamita was a huge hit at this year’s Night it Up with their mexican poutine and highly voted Saigon Fried Chicken taco. The oyster pancake was also surprisingly really good (althought it does leave a fishy aftertaste in your mouth). As much as I always preach No Oysters in summer months, it was .75 cent #RawOysters for #HappyHour & my parents wanted some! I doused them w/ lemon juice, horseradish + ate them between on a saltine cracker 😋
And sometimes my office is rainy and windy but beautiful still. Oh and the teal water is caused by a phytoplankton and is currently being studied by biologists I work with often to figure out if it’s causing shellfish starvation. Sad state of our environment.
