Ao término da especialização todos foram tirar fotos com os professores do curso, fui até uma aluna que estava lá na frente e pedi uma foto com ela , ela no começo não entendeu. mas lembrei ela que eu era aquele aluno da faculdade que para se formar teve que atravessar São paulo para lhe apresentar uma trabalho de 2 min.. e de 1ponto conseguiu 0,5 Kkk ela se lembrou e começamos a rir.

Cuantas personas no veo día a día o me escriben cosas como ¡ya no aguanto esta dieta! ¡esta pechuga; brocoli no me gusta! ¡estoy estresada por que quede con hambre! En fin son muchas las cosas que uno escucha y todos dejan un mensaje concluyente.
Existen muchas formas de hacer dieta, no todo es pechuga de pollo y brocoli. Solo es cuestion de aprender a jugar con tu consumo y gasto calorico del dia.
Asi que ya saben disfruten del proceso y si algun alimento les gusta pues comanlo, ojo con CONSCIENCIA.
Es necesario aclarar que si eres "fisicoculturista" y estas en preparacion para un evento las cosas cambian, por que se busca llegar a niveles extremos de definicion y masa múscular.

Coaching Kids -
Young Avyaan has been doing some boxing fundamentals with me for a month now. His Mum asked me if I could help break a cycle he was stuck in. He had never had an interest in sports, always stuck on an IPad and she thought he was getting bullied at school. 
This isn’t as easy as people might think, a young 8 year old boys confidence is low, little to no athleticism and inside probably trying to deal with issues we as adults can not fathom.

So after meeting him the first step was getting him use to me. Now a 6ft 7, 123 kg man can be very daunting to a 35 kg 8 year old boy so I had to build rapport with him first. 
Once he was comfortable we started building his confidence, making it fun, doing some exercises like sled pushes, shuttle runs, cargo net climbs, fun stuff, that kids like!

Then we started on the basics.
 Footwork. Defense. Basic punches. 
For the first 2 weeks I was on my knees coaching this kid, getting to HIS level. Now I’m up, becoming a little more daunting as his confidence and his abilities grow and he is starting to flourish.

He’s now practicing at home, like I did over 30 years ago as a boy, in front of the mirror, doing my weekly homework, chalk markings on the concrete for footwork, as his attitude changes along with his changes at home and at school and is coming out of his shell.

Coaching kids is much much different to adults. He is my youngest client, and the most vulnerable to influence. Be a good one. Just like you’re an influence to adult clients. 
It takes the same amount of effort and work, it’s the application and understanding that’s the differing factor. ❇

Barbell Deadlift is easily one of my favorite exercises when done properly. Barbell deadlift is also easily my most hated for those who don’t have the proper cueing or mobility to actually perform the movement properly. .

So let’s talk about form - .

.
setup / lineup the toes and even grip on the hands. If you’re using offset grip, make sure you’re rotating hands and working unilateral. Remember rotating the shoulder/hands will activate and lengthen different muscle groups. Stay balanced as much as possible

Feet / root them and stay grounded on the three points of contact, pressing through the toes and driving out of the heels.
.

Knees / soft allow them to bend low into that deadlift, you’re safe behind your second toe. Do not be afraid to bend deeper into a squat after that hip hinge.

Hips/ push that ass out! Stretch the glutes, squeeze the glutes. Avoid any tuck at the top thrusting the hips forward, all you need to do is squeeze and activate the booty - NOT THRUST.

CORE/ SO MUCH CORE! squeeze the ribs shut. And zip up the front of your hips/gut/pelvic floor - perform leg lowers or rollbacks for pelvic floor activation if you are not feeling any core in your deadlift. THE CORE FOCUS KEEPS YOUR SPINAL NEUTRAL AND AVOIDS BACK MUSCLE STRAIN/INJURY.

Shoulders/ squeeze the shoulder blades together and roll them back without pushing up the chest (core and rib bracing above will prevent this posture). Keep the upper back tight all the way through the movement.

Head/ NEUTRAL. Let the eyes follow you all the way down keeping your chin in.

Using a skierg is a great way to build conditioning and resilience for the KB snatch test. 
Like the snatch test it has reps and therefore there is a momentary rest after each stroke. This is similar to the rest you get when the bell leaves the lockout position and moves downward in the hike. The movements are almost the reverse of each other (the snatch and a ski pull) so they work together like peanut butter and jam. 
My favourite protocols are the good old Tabata 20 seconds max effect with 10 seconds rest x 6-10 rounds and an all out 6 min death set. 
For the Tabata I said 6 to 10 rounds. By this I mean stop when you feel the power has dropped off and you cannot regain it. 
The 6 min set is designed to give you the confidence to be able to maintain a high work rate for the 5 min snatch test. If when you first start this protocol you only make say 4 mins, aim to beat this time each attempt.

One of each of these sessions per week would be a great complement to your training at the end of a non snatching training day.

🌿I subbed out refined instant oats for nutrient dense organic whole oats
🌿I used organic maple syrup instead of processed or artificial sugars
🌿I subbed out refined process flour for organic almond flour rich in nutrients
