Esse método consiste em realizar pares de exercícios, para grupos musculares antagônicos, diferente do bi-set o qual os mesmos músculos são ativados.
Muitos confundem os dois métodos. 
O método super-set /agonista e antagonista tem a característica de ter os exercícios alternados por músculos e localizados por articulações. 
Nesse super-set para bíceps e tríceps , procurei variar ângulos de trabalhos que favorecem um trabalho total de todas as porções do tríceps e do bíceps.
A variação do ângulo da posição dos ombros predispõe possibilitam um trabalho diferenciado as porções longas e curtas do bíceps e das porções longas, medial e curta dos tríceps.
A realização dos pares de exercícios, alternando o grupamento muscular de agonista para o antagonista, tem a proposta de gerar um pré-ativação de um grupamento muscular e isso pode reduzir a sua co-ativação como antagonista permitindo uma maior produção de força no agonista.
O método também tem como finalidade gerar uma maior acúmulo de metabólicos, aumentado assim a oclusão vascular do membro que está sendo treinado ocasionando um maior “pump”. .

for the past two months I have been trying to contain my excitement about the most amazing, perfect and thus far best fitness opportunity I have had in my fitness career.
