What are EMOMs?
EMOM is short for Every Minute On the Minute. You complete the desired reps of the exercise(s) on the minute, then rest until the next minute. For example, on the 1st minute do 10 push ups, rest for the remainder of the minute, then do another 10 push ups on the next minute. And continue. Sound easy? Try it on the assault bike 😅

EMOMs can be used to test skill and technique, strength, and conditioning.
When programming an EMOM for strength, the weights should be at a high percentage (e.g. 80%) of either your 1RM (Rep Max) or 5RM.
When programming an EMOM for cardio, the exercises should be able to be done with speed without a heavy load.

Whichever you choose for your goals, make sure there's rest periods. If you start again right after finishing, modify the reps... unless it's a 'Death by assault bike' EMOM...

Voor ons de taak om iedere training vast te stellen of er voldoende herstel heeft plaats gevonden en desnoods het programma aan te passen. Maar als aan alle voorwaarden voldaan is liegen de resultaten er ook niet om. 
De beste training is er één waarvan je nog kunt herstellen. En dat is echt voor iedereen anders.

🥊 4 week block, classes on Monday + Wednesday, 7.15pm (one hour long)
🥊 Starts on Monday 5th August and ends Wednesday 28th August
🥊 We’ll be training at @renegadefitnessandperformance
🥊 Gloves and equipment provided
🥊 On Friday 2nd August, we’ll kick off with an introductory technique session with fitness testing
🥊 We’ll retest your fitness on the last Wednesday of the block

Super excited to spread the love with the first ever Fighting Fit boxing course! 🥳 - This is a great opportunity to learn proper technique – you’ll be throwing jabs, crosses, uppercuts and hooks like Rocky in no time – and you’ll improve your fitness at the same time 🏃‍♀️ - You’ll meet likeminded people and be added into a group chat where you’ll get a weekly home workout (designed by me) and all the motivation you need. - This is a really custom, bespoke course so all fitness levels are welcome – I’ll constantly adjust everything for you! - Details are: 🥊 4 week block, classes on Monday + Wednesday, 7.15pm (one hour long) 🥊 Starts on Monday 5th August and ends Wednesday 28th August 🥊 We’ll be training at @renegadefitnessandperformance 🥊 Gloves and equipment provided 🥊 On Friday 2nd August, we’ll kick off with an introductory technique session with fitness testing 🥊 We’ll retest your fitness on the last Wednesday of the block - As this is a small group course, and I want to give you all my full attention, spaces will be limited! - Ready to book your spot Pop me a message on FB or Insta for more details, or book a call with me to chat through it all. ☺️ - #JoinTheFight
