In this video Mr. Dalcort is explaining the importance of body control and maintaining stability transitioning from an acceleration movement to a deceleration movement by means of conversion. .

In short, conversion is more or less the act of combining the two movements of acceleration and deceleration as opposed to training them individually. He also explains how most athletic injuries occur in the Deceleration phase. .

Mainly because most athletes are so engineered to “Go , Go , Go” that they don’t stop to #look , #learn , and #listen to their body.

I thought I was sold from the workshop and logic alone, but it wasn’t until I put his teachings to #application that I realized - That having not played ball in a few weeks or months, the knee pain or ankle discomfort isn’t* exactly from the jumping and running (Although, that could be applied to any training program with the right progressions and regressions).

Bottom line, my knee pain came from being too “Down Hill” so to speak. I was a defensive lineman in high school (one of the smallest on the line) however I was used to more forward and down hill Accelerated* movements like making a tackle or breaking for the ball. As opposed to stopping on a dime on a hard drive to the basket for a lay up. .

So whether your an athlete, or just a person who wants to keep from running into someone because they can’t stop fast enough. The Vipr @viprpro is a phenomenal tool that can get you out and about and moving with full body integration in no time.

Grazie al nostro protocollo siamo passati da 130 kg a 160 kg sempre in un mese e mezzo, siamo consci di essere ancora all'inizio😎

I strongly believe getting outside of your “box” is where you really grow into who you’re meant to become, even if it’s just a small stepping stone. Being stagnant has never been my thing and it makes me sad when I see others just staying put. It might seem comfortable but staying in a box is where passions, creativity and dreams go to die. I’m lucky to be surrounded be people on a daily basis who are ambitious in their own dreams and supportive of my own. I really hope each of you do as well and if not, be you’re own cheerleader or come find me and I will be yours. Find what challenges you and even if it’s something you’ve never done before or seems scary, try it anyways. Last Sunday our church pastor mentioned when we have a calling on our heart, to explore it. And when we feel resistance, that’s an indicator we’re on the right path. We’re never promised the most rewarding moments of life will come easily, and in fact they never do. So if you’ve had something on your heart, or when you do, don’t hush it. Explore your options and steps to get there and see where it takes you. ♥️ ⠀

When was the last time you stepped outside of your comfort zone I strongly believe getting outside of your “box” is where you really grow into who you’re meant to become, even if it’s just a small stepping stone. ANTERIOR CORE STRENGTH:

What’s your anterior core?
Anterior = the front of the body
Core = well, your abdominal muscles and everything that wraps around your mid section.
•
Your anterior core is important for breathing, rotational stability, resisting extension, better force and power transfer, shoulder function, lower extremity function, and the list goes on!
•
Sometimes jumping right to the ab rollout isn’t the best idea because you haven’t mastered how to limit extension or control of your core.
Check out these videos: in order of easiest to hardest, these are the recommended progressions to build a solid, strong anterior core 🌪

3️⃣ Ab wheel rollout 
4️⃣ Slider rollout •
The goal with all of these: limit excessive extension, or sagging of the low back and hips.

Right shoulder surgery is complete 👊🏻. I’m excited to heal up, finally not be in pain (soon) and actually train. My clavicle degenerated 14 months ago and after numerous cortisone injections, the only step left was to literally chop it off 🔪. .

Here’s a harsh reality though - you will get hurt at some stage in your lifting career. It’s less of an “if” and more of a “how bad” and “how often”. With intelligent program design and a bit of luck you can stay quite healthy. .
.
I would prefer to occasionally get hurt doing something I love, than sit on the couch. Without the pain and the lows, you can’t truly appreciate the highs. .
.
Listen to your body and invest in professionals to take care of you. You’re worth it 👊🏻

How did I even get to where I am now?..........I studied for a million years, studying towards a nz cert and degree I will never use, like most of us 😂 I dabled for a good 3 years as a buyer for a NZ skate brand store, spending 10 years in retail management with one short stint managing one of NZs top designer stores, so to think I am where I am now still amazes me!!

I remember at school I would sell bracelets I made to get lunch/spending money as i wasnt old enough to work legally and hated asking my parents for money 🙄. While studying my whole main goal was to own my own business in that chosen field, if I was to help someone to build theirs it would be to further my own knowledge also, I have started 2 small business over the last 10 years which helped me gain so much more than just knowledge.

I have spent a good few years now in the gym training and working, gaining pratical experience working one on one with clients, designing specific programs for all types of clients from rehabilitation to athletes all while studying to gain further knowledge (knowledge is key). TaylorFit is so much more than just a job to me, it's about helping others to get to where they have always wanted to be whether it's a changed mind set or some type of physical change, its so so so rewarding and something I will never stop doing.
.
We all start somewhere and we all have a journey to go on to get to where we are now all to gain experience and knowledge we think we didnt need but will one day become extremely usefull. If you feel you arnt were your meant to be right now take what you have learned and move forward with what it is you want to do, never be afraid of change, change will only help you grow.

This is only the beginning....... next years going to be a big year for all of us, let's smash 2020 together 😘

If you want to do them, I would recommend starting with minimal ROM and providing some form of external stability. LOAD the pattern before adjusting those two variables. Load is the most powerful stimulus to create change within the nervous system.

📻 🎶 Verrückt, was mir heute Morgen passiert ist: Ich war gerade noch etwas verschlafen beim Zähneputzen, da höre ich plötzlich meine eigene Stimme im Radio! Döntés, Hozzáállás, cselekvés, elkötelezettség, kitartás-ez hozza meg az eredményt.

Tudod mit látok ha becsukom a szemem? Megszámlálhatatlanul sok "erős", brutál mód cselekevő fiatal vezetőket, akik bátrak megmutatni magukat, akik mindennap tesznek a saját céljaikért, akikkel összefogva, egy egységben egymást karöltve haladunk előre egy szabad élet felé, ahol nincsenek korlátok, ahol mindenkinek van ideje a szeretteivel lenni 0-24-ben, bárhonnan építeni a vállalkozását, ahol egy gyönyörű életet tud mindenki teremteni a gyermekeinek, ahol összetartás van. 
Idilli kép, de megtaláltam úgy érzem ezt a helyet és ami a legcsodálatosabb, hogy mi már elindultunk ezen az úton!
