“I grew up thinking that you can’t have everything in life. If you have money, you don't have love. There's this phrase in our culture that if you have luck with money, you will have a lack of love. I grew up thinking I have an amazing relationship with Val, I love him, we are so in love & I don't want to ruin it by getting more money. For me, it was if we will have more money, this awesome relationship will be ruined & we'll start having more problems & I had the idea that we will become more materialistic, all these ideas that you get from someone else that you heard when you were a kid.
I was telling Val that I feel like I don't want to make more money because we will start fighting & our love is so pure that I don't want to ruin it. And then Val told me ‘No, you can have everything.’ We worked together to come from the point of feeling like we're not worth it to have everything. We worked on saving the money, we don’t spend in restaurants & we make sacrifices in small things that will not hurt us too much to have money for the things that we really dream about. We love traveling, we love moving around & that's what is important for us. These small sacrifices of not buying nice clothes or going to hair salons are a small sacrifice because we know we're making this sacrifice for something much bigger.
(Val): We've uncovered a lot of things from our past, from the difficulties we had when other kids bullied us because of our language, how we look & especially the money. A lot of bullying is coming out of the fact that you look different in a bad way, that you don't have nicer things right away, you're also an immigrant & you look different. All of these issues come up & they're hard to talk about, but if you're lucky enough to have a partner in your life, talk about it & try to listen to what your partner's saying & seeing the deeper meaning into it.”
Same chart, same security, same timeframe.
Charts can look incredibly complex if you want to look like you're doing SciFi fancy shit. 🤖
But they're also very, very intuitive. ➡️Swipe➡️ to see how a simple chart can look weird just because of a bunch of indicators.
Point being, technical analysis isn't difficult. It's just new for a lot of us.
So it's very natural to get a bit overwhelmed and intimidated. But don't be.
