Fatigue Masks Fitness

Every now and then a simple paragraph or statement can trigger a cascade of deeper insights into your own training. An example from personal experience is when an old training partner @valhallaweightlifting said "fatigue masks fitness".

As you enter into an accumulation/loading phase the volume is very high and the weights are mostly submaximal. These blocks of training are very challenging and you accumulate large amounts of fatigue.
-----------------------------------------------
As such it is not a condition that permits you to express your maximal strength optimally. In fact during these phases you may even see a slight decline in your ability to lift maximal weight due to the fatigue you accumulate.

But this is how strength is developed. And as you decay fatigue during the next peaking phase your ability to lift maximal loads increases and you should be able to hit a new 1RM.

Got 270 for 🍞lifts!! i was mad tired after squats tbh, so form was trash and i aint postin it. Attempted 285 but failed.
•
In the past, i had 100 lbs for tng, but this time i got it paused (short paws doe)!!! For some reason, I failed 95 lbs, and then I easily got doubles for 90s. LOL so basically I failed 95, did a double for 90, then tried 100 and got it LOL bench is somewhat going up after 2 years of struggles 🥰

Провел небольшую тренировку для поддержания тонуса - лёгкая тяга 170/3*3🎥 и жим 110/3*3🎥.
Собвенный вес сейчас 99кг, и сука вроде как продолжает расти, надеюсь до вечера субботу сдержу его на месте🤦🏼‍♂️
Взвес в субботу, поеду часиков в 18.00 в МВДЦ Сибирь, а после устрою себе не виданую обжираловку, сладеньким и мучным - конечно же поделюсь с тобой моя @paper_man46❤️
А выход на помост в воскресенье, примерно в 10.00😈💪

Squats-3x365,405,405,430 Bench - 4x295,315,335,335,335 6x315 not everyday is a highlight reel, the bar banged the rack on the right side on my 6th rep and took too much out of me. I had the opportunity to test out my catch racks. ✅ GOOD ✅: Apples 🍏, salad 🥗, avocados 🥑

The Truth:

Few things in life are purely black & white. Our food choices are no exception!

Plus, there's no one-size-fits-all definition for the terms "good food" and "bad food"...

For example, folks following a vegan diet vs. a paleo diet are going to have different views on the healthiness of certain foods like meat 🍖, nuts 🥜, and whole grains 🍞.

Even despite both being considered "healthy" approaches in the mainstream.
⠀ 
What’s more, there's also the fact that some people have allergies & intolerance towards certain foods 🐮🙅…

For some, high-quality dairy can provide a ton of health benefits. The same wouldn’t be true for someone with a dairy allergy or intolerance, obviously.

And a cookie 🍪 (often thought of as being a “bad" food) may have fewer micronutrients per calorie than an apple 🍎…

But(t🍑) that doesn't at all make the cookie unhealthy!

It's totes okay to have a cookie every once in a while if you're eating plenty of "more nutritious" foods too 🍎❤️🍪

THE BOTTOM LINE:

There are no universally "good" or "bad" foods, so let's stop labeling them that way... mmkay?

New PR 🤪 225lbs had me 💀got me shaking in my converse , but I managed to lift it.

I feel like one day someone at the gym is going to complain about me dropping the weights 😂😂😂 & I’m just going to let them know housing needs to upgrade their gym & buy some mat

I cut my workout at the gym short because I’ll be doing two works out a day just for this week. One my usual workout & the 2nd is just 30 mins. Which I can do at home. ☺️
