It's days like today I'm reminded of my favorite watch and sunglasses from @mvmt @mvmtforher specifically for their sleek design and attention to detail. The packaging is just as cared for as the items themselves. I'm wearing the Gunmetal watch and Emperess Sunglasses in black. MORE HQ AMBROSE PICS! YAY!
My biggest hope for Ambrose is to see his magic be grounded in a different background than the other Spellman’s. A LOT of magic presented in media is VERY Euro-centric. Most spells being read in Latin, the whole concept of Satan is rooted in a very specific understanding of evil but African and Asian mysticism has existed for FOREVER and barely gets touched upon.
I’d love to see Ambrose’s magic present in a way that’s connected to his actor’s Afro-Latino roots. I’m not sure what Ambrose’s specific ethnicity is (or if the show will ever get into that) but it’d be cool to see the show reference brujeria or voodoo.
I would also love to see Agatha reference East Asian magic and mysticism at some point.
I think it’s really neat that the show has such a diverse cast but ultimately if the actors are diverse but the characters are not it may end up feeling a bit flat.
I also understand that the show is focused on Sabrina and they may not give that much time to other characters. Fingers crossed, though!
