As the ketogenetic diet has gotten more popular, I have seen so many misconceptions, even seen the keto be named the miracle cure for weight loss. 
There is so much misunderstanding and misconception that people are now calling Keto, anything that allows you to subtract the fiber out even if those items primary source of ingredient is modified wheat starch, wheat gluten ( cough " zero carb bread"). Let me ask you something: If you had a 100k automobile would you put low grade gasoline or the higher grade one? Then, why would you put low quality food in your body?

Misconceptions: ( some people are actually doing keto this way)

Little vegetables
Low Protein

Now I am not saying you cant enjoy 1.2 cup of rebel ice cream once in a while but its not a primary food group.

Some Health Misconceptions: You are going to have kidney damage, high cholesterol or you are going to fall and die of a heart attack. ( High Cholesterol and heart related illnesses have increase due to refine carbs. )

Keto: Facts!

Keto is a low carb intake (total average carb range 40g for women to 50g a day for men) that shifts the body towards using fat for energy. Either your own body fat storage or dietary fat. You do not necessarily need to consume excessive amount of fat if you are heavier individual. 
Keto is whole foods sources where carbs comes from trace carbs from protein sources, some nuts and vegetables from leafy greens and cruciferous veggies like cauliflower and broccoli. 
Keto benefits: Burn stored fat ( you can also achieve this with other lifestyles) stabilizes blood sugar, it can improve sleep, decrease inflammation and improve cognitive function.

While, I myself live a keto lifestyle I am very well aware that keto is just a tool in your tool box. While it might be a great option for some, it is not alway the greatest option for others. It should be individually based.

- Research and watch videos of the exercises you've planned so you know what to do, and don’t risk injury
- After all of the above, go to the gym and keep using each item of equipment until you have no concerns about it anymore. This should take no time at all.
