Stressed to the max for stupid reasons which caused me to get very little sleep. Up at midnight and 2:00 a.m. I decided to just stay up at 2, since my alarm was set for 2:50 anyways. Hockey early this morning and bad weather on the way. I’m stressed about getting home to get my other two kiddos and dogs. I’m sure it will all work out, but the storm we had last week didn’t go well for the people driving. 20 mile commutes took 6+ hours. I am about an hour away with good weather. I will just hope for the best and enjoy all the games today. ✌🏻
Been trialling numerous different leg exercises for the past 2-3 weeks since my lower back went. This is a injury I’ve had for a long time that will never be 100% without surgery so rather than cry about it I just do my best to train around it because I refuse to have small legs!
The hack squat is one exercise I can do since I can get myself in a position where I can support my lower back and reduce pain. It has its good and bad days, when it’s good I like to go back to basics with squats but when it’s not it’s more machine work and leg press for me. Don’t let injuries deter you from your goals just train smart and keep progressing!

From experience of training with different people and observing people in the gym, many people overlook the importance of training legs! The leg muscles are one of the biggest muscle groups in the body, therefore training them effectively is key to building a good all round strong physique! Like they say you can't build a castle on sand! Even though leg day is my least favourite training day, i come out of that training day with the most satisfaction knowing I've hit all angles of the quads and hams to effectively train them! My top 5 exercises for legs are
1) front squats
2) leg extension
3) sfiff leg deadlift
4) leg press (narrow and wide stance)
5) lying ham curl
Personally i like to mix up exercises and try different angles and stances to work all areas of the quads and hams! So... this is new to me. I mean, sharing a progress picture of my body. I usually don't really like posting my "bare" skin as it's quite a big deal for me but I really want to take part of this journey fully committed!
These pictures are already showing me progress as a year ago, I was far from being toned and strong as I am today. I am looking forward to work hard thanks to @fitoeberg @hannaoeberg and get stronger in this new year!

Saturday morning leg day, fuelled with about 1 ton of pasta 🍝 the night before, was soooo good 😋 all the carbs. All the energy. My body needed it after being in a calorie deficit all week 😭
It’s strange because I look forward to training, it hasn’t ever been a chore for me.
Don’t get me wrong, some days I am tired and don’t feel I can perform but I try not to come out of my routine. I think that’s what keeps us going...routine, planning and structure.
If we didn’t plan around our jobs, kids, family, friends etc you really wouldn’t find the time to go.
To me the gym is a luxury, it’s gives me headspace that I need and time to not talk but just focus on improving myself. Everything else just becomes quiet and peaceful, that’s so important for your mental health.
Happy that I am all done and ready to do what I need to do, relax and enjoy my weekend. See friends, dance and have a drink later 🙃😎

Her age(karamjeet kaur) is 43 years old and age doesn’t matter for her as you can clearly see it. She was doing 5th last set of 130kg leg press for 12 reps with so proper form, calm and compose.
