This Daily Dose of Kindness reminds us of the importance of the little things in life. It is natural to always want to look for the big, life-changing moments. However, life-changing moments can be the small minute changes in your life. When times get tough, the small positive moments will bring light to even our darkest days. Take a moment to notice everything around you. Stay in the present moment—-the only place life exists. Most importantly, when living in the present moment, find a grateful heart when these smaller moments do occur. Although we may not see the intended reason for every life experience at the start, the intended reason will be revealed eventually. Be thankful, be grateful, and most importantly be present. Remember to share this WITH THE HASHTAG #RocksofUnity. Together we can make a change! ❤️ #kindnessmatters #bekind #positivity #randomactsofkindness #love #acceptance #diversity #change #kindnesswins #peace #endhate #endintolerance #unique #beyou #unity #bethechange #differences #kindheart #internal #lifestyle #empathy #understanding #GoodGoesRound

Day 3 of 7 days of mindful kindness, I am feeling so blessed by the effortless way people around me are naturally so kind and compassionate, my beautiful friend allowed me to teach in his cafe today as the hall is closed, I treated some of the wonderfully supportive yogis to a coffee after our session and generally felt the love emanating from everyone. I’m
Doing a last minute cover class over at David Lloyd and feel absolutely full of loving kindness.. #sendinglovingkindness

More than ever, this world needs Jesus. There is so much darkness in today’s society and we are called to be the light to the world.
In today’s blog I share my thoughts on what it might look like to be a light to the world and what Jesus tells us to do as follows of Him. Link is in my bio!
I am going to the Gold Coast this week to help out with Red Frogs so I won’t be as active, but hopefully there will still be a post for you all next week. ✨
In our experience, having a strong mind is one of the key determinants to dealing with cancer.
We accept gift wrapping donations in our store, which we match dollar for dollar, specifically to fund the psychology and counselling service at Sydney’s integrated cancer hospital @chris_obrien_lifehouse. We’re proud to partner with a world-class organization tackling cancer with such a sophisticated, integrated approach. You can donate to Chris O’Brien Lifehouse directly via the link in our profile, or drop a note in the fishbowl on the counter in our Martin Place store.
Living by one simple mindset. Every little thing counts. I want to make a difference in the world. Take some of what I have to help someone else. There’s a story that goes: ... a man, walking on the beach one day, saw a sea of sea stars on the beach drying up. In the middle of them there was a young girl picking them up and, one by one, throwing them into the ocean. The man walked up to her and said “what are you doing stupid girl. There is no way you’ll be able to make a difference, there’s too many” The girl, without even looking up, replied as she threw a starfish in the water “I made a difference for that one” and as she threw the next, “and that one” a smirk starting to form on her face. There’s two lessons that comes from this story: 1) Don’t ever think that an act of kindness, however small, doesn’t make a difference to someone. 2) Keep persisting even if there’s people telling you it’s not going to change anything. #sharethelove #helpother #perist #randomactsofkindness #kindness #help #changetheworld #savetheworld #itsthesmallthings #smallbecomesbig
Just a gentle reminder. 📸 @thinkgrowprosper
When beautiful strangers join your free hugs 🤗😍 Many walk passed, many ignores us but the few that stop to hug made our day just as it makes theirs too.
When I first started doing this, it humbles me how many people would say thank you before I had the chance to say it first.
It reminds me of this saying: It is not happy people who are thankful. It is thankful people who are happy.
A hug is a gift that you also receive. A kindness boomerang and it feels so good.
You can see it in their smiles. 😍😁 Thank you for your hugs lovely souls. And for our hug ambassador @michael_a1997
My favorite executive, the best husband ever, and - most importantly - a great man would have been 93 today. Happy Birthday, Gramps!
Gramps knew everyone’s name and he often gave people nicknames. It made people feel special and they adored him for it. The Controller of the company knew who they were and cared enough to call them by name.
Gramps would quote Dale Carnegie to me since I was a little girl, “A person's name is to that person, the sweetest, most important sound in any language.” I took it to heart and I always try really hard to remember names, to spell them correctly, and to say them properly. Because it matters.
Today, to honor Gramps, I ask that you use people’s names to greet them. If you don’t know someone’s name, learn it and use it.
Beyond that, make someone feel special today. Make someone feel like he or she matters, and not because that person can benefit you, but because that person is important and I don’t mean “important” based on his or her title. That would not honor my gramps. Perhaps, you can acknowledge a hard worker whose efforts are overlooked or a person having a bad morning. Perhaps your attention to that person will mean more than you realize. *That* will honor my gramps.
I love you and I miss you, Gramps. You (and @chrissygainey) taught me how to thrive in a corporate environment while being an ethical and moral human being *first and foremost* and, for that and so much more, I will always be grateful.
I was chewing the carpet in the sliding door, Alfie looked at me, looked at mummy and then came and pushed me outside. He told me I’m not allowed to chew the fuzzy thing. I wonder why! 😂🙈
Empathy, love, understanding, being inclusive, empowerment, sharing, compassion, accepting and generosity. Just some of the emotions and actions we can relate to kindness, one of the most transforming riches that everyone has at their fingertips. One small drop can ripple out with life changing effects that we may never hear or see. It can touch someone to the core in an instant, uplift all that are involved, while holding so much magic and beauty. It’s all of this, plus the immense kindness I have been afforded in life, that propels me to teach this wealth of wisdom to our children for their social and emotional development, and home is a great place to start. This is a really ugly picture of trash cans...I saw a list somewhere of examples of #actsofkindness and they mentioned taking your neighbors trash cans in for them. Someone did this for me once and I wasn’t sure if it was an actual act of kindness or an act of passive aggression but today was trash day and I hoped it’s the former. 🤷🏻♀️ #trashday
Looks like this triptych-post newbie is early/late to #worldkindnessday 🙈 Hope the #bekind bandwagon hasn’t left yet! I think it should stay around all year anyway. 💗 We truly never know what’s going on in someone else’s day/life/mind/mood, but we all know what it’s like to go through a hard time. Kindness costs nothing, and can mean so much. If you’ve got some patience and joy to spare, share. 🤝
When your friend's boyfriend brings you a "thank you" bouquet for helping his lady. Yeah, this made my evening. Random acts of kindness are so appreciated. ❤
I want to teach my girls independence, creativity, and how to be the hand and heart of Jesus to the world. In a world of bullying and mass shootings, I want them to see love and BE love. It is the mission of Baubles and Babes to “leave a little sparkle wherever we go”. For every sale, my babes and I will complete a random act of kindness (leave a sparkle). I would love for our customers to get involved in the fun. When you purchase, give us an idea for our act of kindness or better yet complete it with us.
Simply, we at Print the Love, LOVE ❤️ to give away instant photographs to international under-resourced communities who do not have access to these unique treasures. "Caring-Our way of life"
I had some of these #kindnesscards on my desk from the @wakeupproject.com.au, and I’ve been using them this week as part of my #doterraweekofaction activities. It’s always nice to do something kind for another when you are not looking for recognition or acknowledgement from the recipient. You don’t need a little card like these ones though, just try it out. Buy a coffee for the next person in advance. Smile at strangers. Use people’s name at the checkout. Connect!🧡💙
Today, during car duty (in the freezing temps) a family came through and gave us all peppermint mochas and I was like 😱🙌😭🎉. As soon as I got home I put the leftovers in my favorite broken coffee cup, added some marshmallows, and then put on my fuzzy sock slippers. What a great end to the day! But I'm definitely going to regret this caffeine 😬
Sometimes you just need a cuddle or helping hand along the way. 🧡🐧🐧🧡Very appropriate that today is World kindness day as today we said a very sad goodbye to one of the kindest people we were lucky enough to have known. Fiona was loving and full of laughter. She was caring and a great listener. Her presence made everyone feel better, above all, her kindness to others was unmeasurable. In her honor I promise to spend more time being kind.🕊 #worldkindnessday #bekind #friendship #randomactsofkindness #piggyback #care #mamaandbaby #polarbear #penguin #babypenguin
I have been obsessed with this variety of thistle this week, this is “Eryngium Magnetar Questar” Or “Qstar” for short.
Paired with these jewel tones in a glass cube, these long-lasting florals are the perfect 🎁 gift for saying “I Appreciate You!”
