One of the most central things I strive for is balance. Knowing I often lose track of time when I'm working and often don't get enough sleep, I have to pay attention to the stress levels in my body. I try to be adaptable in how I do it. Tonight, it's DVD time with a pitcher of honey jasmine tea.
I hope everyone is having a good night too. Take good care of yourself. Remember that while some sacrifices are necessary in life, your sustainability is what fuels the quality of our lives. Life it vibrantly.

Today i have felt like complete crap. Today i am doing the work i need to do and that is all. Today is not a day for me to do a massive workout or a workout at all or to push myself to do more of anything.
Ive tuned in, really listening to what my body needs and wants. If i don't want to I don't have to. My body, my rules.
Tomorrow is a new day.

It seems like the moment we lay our heads down to rest, our mind decides to work overtime. And when it does, as tired as we are, we can’t seem to shut it down.
If you are battling with this very issue, I encourage you to begin swapping out those discouraging negative thoughts with encouraging positive ones. As you find yourself focusing on the positive you will allow your mind to relax and allow you the much needed rest.
Remember, when we occupy our thoughts with negativity, we drain our energy and peace with worry and fear. But the moment you focus on only the positive, you essentially renew your thought process, creating a more calm and serene mindset. Which equals rest. “In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, O LORD, will keep me safe.”
