@freeletics for the win. Sometimes the only option is to workout in the middle of a playroom with multiple stops for toddler hugs and “safety breaks” to move toy hazards out of the way of burpees and jumping jacks.

Tonight’s 35 min workout consisted of a warmup (see story), 20 pistol squats, 15 ground supermen, a 16 minute full-body workout...6 ROUNDS of: 10 burpees, 40 jumping jacks, 30 mountain climbers, 20 high knees, 60 second rest, and then a cool-down and stretch. #boom .

I woke up the other morning feeling a little jet lagged and hung over (had one too may whoopsies) and figured instead of just lying in bed I’d go for a run. Didn’t really feel like it but in the end I convinced myself to get up and just go for it.

So, I laced up my shoes and hit the road with no idea of where I was going. As I got going, I quickly realized that I was in one of the most beautiful parts of the World. It was the proper English countryside and to be honest, words probably won’t do it justice it was that beautiful. There were wild horses, cows, 1,000 year old churches, rolling fields and beautiful farm houses everywhere I looked. I even got to witness my first ever cow road block 🐄😂

And then about half way through my run I stumbled upon a local coffee shop. I ordered a coffee and sat outside talking to a few locals. They were unbelievably nice and welcoming and gave me a little history lesson on the way back.

Afterwards, I hit the road again and headed back to the farmhouse we were staying at and all I kept thinking was HOW LUCKY I AM. How lucky I am to be capable to run, walk and explore the incredible world we live in. A lot of times it’s easy to take our ability to do these things for granted but the reality is A LOT of people have had these privileges taken from them without any rhyme or reason.

So in short, all I wanted to say is EMBRACE our ability to move and use it to LIVE LIFE to its fullest. If your thinking about lying in, or debating whether or not to watch another Netflix show instead of go to the gym, always remember there are people who literally would do anything to be in your shoes and get moving.

Some days you just done feel like running. That was today. After getting in 18 miles over the weekend I just felt drained today and so didnt want to run. But I put on the shoes and finished 5 slow miles. Glad that's over! Haha

Nothing is going to work for you, until you show up and put in the work.

You can keep searching the internet for inspiration and life hacks and you can keep reading every personal development and financial planning book on the planet... but that's not going to solve your problem.
~
Your problem is you want to know the short cut, you want to know how to get rich quick and you want to feel significant without ever doing anything meaningful and significant.
~
If that's what you want, you'll spend every last dollar you have searching for an answer, idea or strategy that doesn't exist.
~
There are no short cuts, you've got to show up every day and put in the work, year in and year out. End of story.
~
The best strategies, success tips and advice won't work if you don't back that up with consistent effort and work over a long period of time.
~
It doesn't matter if we're talking about your body, your business, your relationship or even growing your social media following, nothing works if you aren't committed and dedicated enough to put in the work to make things happen.
~
I get that there are many things to learn and so many ideas & strategies to take on board, but my advice as always is to get the basics right and focus on being consistent and showing up every day.
~
Don't waste your time and energy hoping for an easy way, there isn't one. Put in the work for a decade or two and you'll see the results you want to see and build the life you want to live. It's that simple, but it's definitely not that easy!
~
It's time to take responsibility for your life and do what needs to be done!
