La protagonista indiscussa della collera è l'AMIGDALA, una parte del cervello a forma di mandorla che governa le passioni.
Insieme all'amigdala troviamo come co-protagonisti i LOBI FRONTALI, la parte che ci porta alla pacatezza e alla razionalità.
Queste due parti del nostro cervello salgono sul "ring delle reazioni", vedendo l'amigdala molte volte vincitrice!
Ma come fare a vincere l'incontro finale
Dobbiamo allenare e rendere più forti i nostri lobi frontali attraverso delle tecniche di concentrazione, respirazione e rilassamento!
Il segreto è la MODERAZIONE: abituare la nostra mente a razionalizzare la situazione tramite alcune tecniche: - Utilizzare parole "neutre" per descrivere la situazione. Esprimi ad alta voce questi pensieri. Parlare aiuta a scaricare e calmarsi.
- Usare numeri e dati razionali, che ci riportano a fatti ed elementi reali.

I’m trying to get more comfortable with posting front on pictures and pictures where I am giving a more authentic smile. I’ve always thought that my natural smile is pretty goofy and having a lazy eye that is often squinting in pictures while my other eye bugs out can make me feel even more self conscious. Learning to love myself and all my quirks has been my second main goal (first being my mental health.) Increasing self-care has given me a new outlook on myself during the past few months. Not being able to work out to the extent that I had been has been rough on my psychological well-being. Doing makeup (even on most days where I go nowhere) has helped me feel sane. And finding a new skill doing so has been pretty neat too!

Daily home yoga practice day 24🌱 I had a lazy morning laying bed tossing around but finally got up to move.
Sound of rain ☔️ It turned out to be Dancey flowy practice💚ah it felt good.
I really didn’t want to this morning like... I was fighting.
But I know I will be glad that I did✨
Getting up to start is the hardest part sometimes.
