How did I fall into this awesome job and find a love for advertising
Well as all the best song, books and TV shows will tell you “life is a journey and nothing goes to plan” My story starts with stressful year 12 exams and ends with amazing online course 😂
After decided I would go to uni and study physiology, I took a gap year and work and the one and only JB HI-FI Mandurah. To which one year turned into 5, think you have seen me before, you most likely have 😂 . JB taught me the power of marketing, advertising and connecting people with products to help solve a problem.
I went on the study a degree in digital marketing and media at uni and so my next chapter begins.
After being passed a business card of a local production company, I stalked their social media and website then asked if I could join team as a marketing assistant. A few weeks later and I was in!
My boss had heard about an online course for Facebook Ads and suggested I check it out. And that was it! I fell In love with Facebook Business Manager 💙
Everything made sense and I was overwhelmed with the results I was getting from setting up campaigns compared to boosting posts. I was seeing big business pop up in my news feeds and I understood how they were reaching me. 🤯
From there I started doing as many course as I could to learn more and more about how these Ads work, new strategies and tools, I could use in order to get new and better results.
Which leads us to now!
Last month I decided to launch my own business in order to continue learning, help connect business reach their ideal customer and do what I love everyday! 🥳
E-commerce is a $4.48 TRILLION Market. While you are complaining about over saturation, your neighbor is sitting down and being strategic with their planning and execution 🙌🏽
It’s all about thinking outside the box and giving people what they need and want 👌🏽 For example:
You are selling makeup. You’ve just started out. The beauty industry is valued at $532 billion on its own. You have MILLIONS waiting for you.
No matter how saturated it is, absolutely no one is buying from one brand alone. It’s now up to you to give the people what they want.
Exclusivity, Availability, Inclusivity, Branding, Personalization AND so much more!!!
There can be 1000 brands selling the same shade of red but there will also be 1,000 people that will buy your shade! It’s about telling stories (Marketing) inspiring people to do something, become something with just your product. Running proper campaigns with aspiring photographers where you both help each other build your portfolios !
