I love the quote “learn to be in love with the person in the mirror, who has been through so much and is still standing“. Love and honour your pathway my dear friends. No doubt it has not been easy and you have been through so much. No doubt there have been times when you have been on your knees and no doubt there have been times when you have had to make choices which were uncomfortable for you. But, you would not be who you are today without all of this. Let me tell you my friends, who you are today it’s beautiful, strong and if you’re reading this, no doubt, filled with determination. Keep going. You have got this
“Be a reflection of what you’d like to receive. If you want love, give love. If you want truth, be truthful. What you give out will always return.” - Kristen Butler
What is karma How does it manifest
Our karma is the result of the choices we make and how we respond to their effects on the world around and within us. We choose our karma day by day in the way we live and through those choices come to the present moment.
If we choose to live peaceful lives we may likely make non-violent and forgiving decisions. If we are encountered by tragedy we will find grace in the grief. Conversely, people who seem to be in hellish
circumstances have ultimately made a series of choices to end up in such a point. They may have meant well every step of the way and had the odds stacked against them, but what was the nature of their mind How did they process and respond to their situations I know all too well the latter path and it has been a humbling as well as extraordinary metamorphosis. There is no truly good or bad path. We are all here to learn.
Words like responsibility, self-ownership, and accountability can make some people very uncomfortable, but if we can truly own up to how we choose and how we respond (even to terrible things), we will live more freely and openly. We all make choices which lead to consequences whether we think them positive or negative. Sometimes circumstance seems to thrust upon us. We are being called upon to respond.
If we want to be in the driver's seat of our lives, we need to acknowledge the difference between perception and action and their respective contributions. Believing we deserve the best life will raise our confidence, self-esteem and make opportunities more recognizable. This is a mindset approach that can provide powerful focus and awareness so we can more often take hold of opportunities. That requires us to take action. Our beliefs are indeed a part of the equation, but we must then take it all the way home.
Life is not the direct result of our beliefs about what we think we deserve, rather it is a culmination of the choices we make which are influenced by our perspective. By adopting mindsets in alignment with our will we find it easier and easier to be ready to take action at the right moments. 🙏
