Hey, here鈥檚 a sweet lil鈥 quicky for y鈥檃ll. Super easy but actually holds some nutritional value. Not my idea of an indulgence (that would be peanut butter pie or creamer br没l茅e for me) but something I like to enjoy when I鈥檝e got a hankering for something on the sweet side. I don鈥檛 even know what to call this. Whoever picks a name wins

Apples (I love a variety of Granny Smith and Pink Ladies) sliced
Almond butter (or nut butter of your choice) 
Hulled hemp seeds
Raw honey 
Shaved chocolate (70% cocoa) 
Fennel pollen (don鈥檛 trip if you don鈥檛 have this. But definitely give it a try if you ever come across it. It pairs so well with honey and apples) .

Slice apples, arrange on a plate. Dollop with nut butter and then drizzle with honey. Sprinkle on remaining ingredients and enjoy!

A few months聽ago I had no idea what "sprouting" was, but when I learned about it, I knew I needee to try it. "Sprouting" is, in essence, the germination process plants undergo when they begin to grow. At this stage, they are PACKED full of nutrients (phytochemicals) because they need to support themselves as they grow into a vibrant plant. Because of this, sprouts can provide a punch of nutrition for us too when we eat them. This means you can get MORE nutrients in a few tablespoons of broccoli sprouts than eating cups and cups of broccoli itself. Sprouting seeds, nuts, beans, and grains also makes these foods easier to digest. This is partly because it reduces the power of antinutrients, things like phytic acid, which are compounds that hinder the absorption of minerals. Thus sprouting can help with digestibility and increase the availability of protein and nutrients like B12, Iron, Magnesium, and Zinc! 鈥

I don't always have a green thumb, but even so this batch of alfalfa, broccoli, and radish seeds pulled through! It was so QUICK (this jarful only took 4 days!), CHEAP, and this sprouting jar from NOW made it so EASY! Highly recommend to anyone wanting to boost the quality of their food consumption!

I don鈥檛 know where it came from or why it鈥檚 happening, but the awareness of it is crucial to the changing of it. I鈥檝e been way in my head and it鈥檚 distracting me. I鈥檓 distracted from what鈥檚 important, distracted from my path, distracted from true presence, distracted from being in gratitude - and I鈥檓 not about it. It鈥檚 not even shiny objects - it鈥檚 dull and dank and dingy. 鈽旓笍 My intuition has been on overdrive - synchronicity, validation, confirmation EVERYWHERE - and I鈥檓 just shutting it down left and right, trying to think my way through things (as if that鈥檚 ever gotten me anywhere really good). Well, until now. 馃憡馃徑 I see what I鈥檓 doing. I see where I鈥檝e been accepting and tolerating less than what is essential to my own well-being. And not just to my survival, but to my ability to THRIVE. 
What鈥檚 next is about uprooting. Open your eyes and your heart, feel into your physical and energetic space. What does your garden look like? Have you been watering where you want to grow, or are you giving all of the nourishment to more crab grass and weeds? What is popping up - is it going to feed your soul or will it starve off your passion and purpose? You reap what you sow. Now is the time to rip out - from the root - whatever it is you鈥檙e seeing push through that is NOT true to or in alignment with the harvest you want to reap. Pull those weeds from the soil of potential and possibility and fill the holes with new seeds. Nurture them. Water them. Tend to your garden, friend. YOUR garden. Spring & summer is the perfect time for yummy, crunchy sprouts - though I have to watch my hubby, otherwise he eats them all before I get any 馃槀

The jamuns are prepared by my daughter and I was happy and surprised as she prepared it perfectly and better than me. Here instant jamun mix is being made use of and the dough was mixed with milk. And dough was Kneaded with pure ghee and the Jamoons tasted just heaven......

Meanwhile, combine 1 cup of honey, a pinch of red pepper flakes and 3 Tbsp of red wine vinegar in a sauce pan. Reduce over medium heat for 5 minutes. Pull sprouts from oven and drizzle honey mixture over the sprouts. Squeeze lemon juice over the sprouts and top with lemon zest and sliced scallions. Enjoy! :

馃尡Drain and rinse lentils thoroughly.聽Invert the jar over a bowl at an angle so that the lentils will drain while still allowing air to circulate.
馃尡Repeat rinsing and draining 2-3 times per day until sprout tails appear. Taste sprouts (not lentils) daily; discontinue rinsing and draining when sprouts have reached desired length and flavor.
馃尡Drain for several hours before cooking or transferring to a covered container.

Homemade Granola

-4 cups Rolled Oats (Gluten Free Rolled Oats from @bobsredmill)
-1 cup Pumpkin Seeds
-1/2 cup Organic Blue Agave
-1/2 cup Grapeseed Oil
-1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract
-1 tsp Cinnamon
-1/4 tsp Salt
鈥擯reheat the oven to 300 degrees.
鈥擟ombine oats, pumpkin seeds, cinnamon, and salt in a bowl.
鈥擨n a separate bowl, mix together blue agave, grapeseed oil, and vanilla extract.
鈥擯our wet mixture over dry ingredients and mix well.
鈥擲pread over a baking sheet in one layer and bake in the oven for 40 minutes, tossing it once halfway through. Granola will crisp up as it cools.

Citrus Shrimp & Avocado Salad

For the Shrimp:
-1 lb of Shrimp, shelled and deveined
-Juice of 1/2 Lemon
-1/2 tsp Chili Powder
-1 tsp Ground Cumin
-2 Tbsp Olive Olive Oil
-Pinch of Salt
For the Salad:
-1 Ripe Avocado, cut into small cubes
-1 lb of Tomatoes, chopped
-1 cup Quinoa
-1/2 cup of Cilantro
-Juice of 1 Lemon
-1 Small Clove of Garlic
-3 Tbsp Olive Oil
-Salt to taste
鈥擨n a bowl, toss together the shrimp, lemon juice, chili powder, cumin powder, olive oil and salt, set aside while you preheat a pan on high heat.
鈥擟ook the shrimp on the hot pan for just a couple of minutes until fully cooked through, remove the seafood and place them in a bowl, set aside.
鈥擨n a small mini chopper, add the cilantro, olive oil, lemon and garlic and pulse until just about smooth.
鈥擜dd the remaining salad ingredients along with the vinaigrette to the bowl with the shrimp, toss all together to mix then cover and pop it in the fridge for about half an hour before serving.
