So I already know I’m going get a lot of pushback for this but it is what it is. I am doing wide grip shoulder press. I know all the research suggests that you should use a closer grip because it gets rid of the moment arm and allows you to press more weight. However, since I switched to Wide grip bench press I have been having shoulder issues. As soon as I started gripping the bar at the same width as my wide bench my shoulder pain went away. The increased upper back work helped too😂 I guess time will tell if this is actually a good decision or not🤷🏿‍♂️ #gymislife #egressingbarriers

So I already know I’m going get a lot of pushback for this but it is what it is. I am doing wide grip shoulder press. However, since I switched to Wide grip bench press I have been having shoulder issues. As soon as I started gripping the bar at the same width as my wide bench my shoulder pain went away. I also do other back excercises, including assisted pull ups. ◾Sumo Deadlift - I love deadlifts 💙 At the moment I'm doing 55kg. ◾ On the last rep, I don't know what happened 😂 it just went forwards! I'm still on 30kgs on BP. I can definitely see results with this one. I never even thought I had muscles in my chest & noticed them in the mirror 🤔 nice surprise.

Banded Sumo Deadlift!

Give this variation of the deadlift a go. The deadlift targets the posterior chain muscles which are the hamstrings, glutes, calves, back and traps. By adding the resistance band its adds resistance through the full range of the movement and really enforces lat engagement. 
The sumo stance relies on recruiting the hips, glutes, and legs to initiate the first portion of the pull, while the conventional deadlift has a more equal balance between the lower back and hamstrings. Each pull hits similar muscles throughout their full ranges of motion.

I usually aim for 3 sets, 10,8,6 reps trying to increase the weight each time while maintaining good form

Did a thing.. tried sumo deadlifts for the first time and hit 455x1. I’m sure there’s 100 things I could’ve done better to make this faster and smoother but I’m happy that for the first time in weeks my back isn’t hurting after deadlifts. Tried to use as little aid from gear as possible. Not that my crap belt does anything anymore but I ditched that and the straps. I even tried a over hand grip for the first set of 4hundos but that second set my grip was toast 😅. Still trying to figure out my fav most comfy sumo stance.

Upper back tightness is something that has escaped me and is probably my number one priority now.

This allows him to stay in a proper position throughout the lift and shortening his ROM and getting to a quicker lockout. My top tips on how to get abs

1️⃣ calorie deficit - you have to burn off more calories than you consume, try to cut 500 calories a day from your diet. Your body will sense the drop in food and compensate by using stored fat.

2️⃣ abstain from alcohol - not only is it high in calories itself it also reduces the amount of fat calories you burn off, boost your appetite and it drops your testosterone level. 
3️⃣ do more cardio - cardio is effective when it comes to reducing belly fat, which can help make your abdominal muscles more visible, hiit cardio is another great example it increases fat burning you can try alternating between high-intensity exercises such as jumping jacks, burpees and mountain climbers with short breaks in between. Other activities such as running, walking and other sports are a few other ways to fit cardio into your daily routine if you are not in the gym. 
There is no specific ab exercise you have to do in order to get abs to show as long as your body fat percentage is low, I am to train abs twice a week.
