This Shxt chess not checkers 💪🏽🦍

I need curls, curls, curls, curls!🔥 Does anyone know the difference between wide-grip curls and close grip-curls? You should include all variations of an exercise to get the most improvment, but what if your happy with your bicep size and just want a bigger, more defined "rock"? In this case wide-grip curls are the way to go. Lets say your biceps already have a well defined rock, but you'd like them to be bigger (wider in this case.) Switch to a closer grip to work on your biceps thickness! Personally, when I do close grip curls I also see an immediate pump in my forearms. So if you've been trying to increase your forearms size, try close grip EZ bar curls and let me know if you see a difference! Also, Like this if you found it helpful❗⠀

At #EquinoxSantaMonica we have a ton of celebrities that come through our gym. As an employee, I stay professional and don't bother anyone. Today .... I couldn't help myself. (and Steve didn't seem to mind at all).

It's really cool chatting with someone who has such an impact on your life. He's as genuine in person as he is on his social media. -

I’ve been having a REAL hard time lately, mentally..

Second guessing every single life choice I’ve made up to this point. I was in a REAL dark place..
.
I was letting one detail ruin all of the other AMAZING things in my life! (Hint- it’s starts with R and ends in Ship).
.
I didn’t know where to turn or what to do. I was lost!.
. 
Something randomly hit me and I remembered that the last time I was down in life I started to “practice” gratitude. Meaning, Daily I write down at least 5 things in my life I’m grateful for and why (the why part is really important!)
.
This instantly shifts my thoughts from the thing(s) that I don’t have to the AMAZING things that I do have!..
.
I’m definitely still a work in progress, but since I started practicing gratitude again things have started to shift. I’m 10x happier in my everyday life again and I’m way more fulfilled so I can continue to help other!!.
.
If you’re going through a hard time with anything in your life, try practicing gratitude. I’m sure there’s something in your life that you can be thankful for!!! #DMDfitness .

When doing the standing Hamstring Curls, make sure you’re squeezing your butt the WHOLE time to really isolate the Hamstring. You will need to go extremely light. I used 25lbs.

But this is such a great poem because it’s so true and holds so much weight. So many people live a life that they don’t want and aren’t true to themselves. Being true to yourself is the most important thing in life people will come and go but you have to live with yourself every day. You’ll live inside your head knowing who you really are and you’ll be old and taking your final breaths regretting it all as you think back over your life.

This is me not having worked out in over a month due to shoulder issues, barely having an appetite because I’m not working out, and when I would eat, most of the time it wasn’t the best food.

My shoulders are now feeling WAYYYY better, so it’s time to pack back on the muscle..

With my online coaching I offer a minimum of 12 weeks of coaching. So I’ve committed to pack on as much muscle as I can within the next 12 weeks! I’m hoping to gain anywhere from 3-6lbs of lean muscle within the next 3 months.

I want to prove that if you stick to a structured program and a structured nutrition plan that you can most definitely achieve realistic goals!! #DMDfitness!.

I’VE LOST MUSCLE!!!. . . The picture on the left is my current physique. I’m current 190lbs which is 10lbs down from where I normally sit and 5Lbs down from last time I really dieted hard to lean out for the summer!. . MY SHOULDERS HURT.
.
For the past few weeks I have been having terrible shoulder pain. I’m still not 100% sure the cause of it, but all I know is that they hurt!.
.
I’m still not 100% better, but I’m not in constant pain any more!.
.
Here’s what I did/what I’m doing to help if you’re having the same problem!.
.
1) I got a deep tissue massage. This helped A LOT.
2) Right after my massage I soaked in an Epson Salt bath (I don’t really know if that really did anything, but I figured I’d add it anyway 😜)
3) I starting doing shoulder mobility drill a few times a day. 
4) I’m doing kettlebell Turkish Get Up’s to help with shoulder mobility and stability.
.
So far, these things are helping me so I’m going to continue doing them!.
.
Is there anything you do to help with shoulder pain? I’m always up for new recommendations!.
