All about the lovely Château @lescarrasses over on the blog and check out my dedicated ten story highlight to Château Les Carrasses, because it deserves it. We have stayed at their sister property @stpierredeserjac as well and I just love them because they are super family-friendly while being super chic. They are becoming a bit of a tradition with our family now, as much as we travel and like going new places, there is something special about going back to a place you know, that feels comfortable and familiar. If you want to explore the Languedoc region in the South of France, I can highly recommend these Châteaus. They are actually opening a third one in December 2020, don’t worry I’ll gladly volunteer to check it out. 🙋♀️
It’s « Vitel’ Tone » o’clock !

While Riga is great for dining out and having slow meals, the summertime is fit to discover what’s outside of the capital. Head to Vidzeme, the North East of Latvia, where the medieval beauty Cēsis and vibrant Valmiera reside. Located by the picturesque Gauja River and surrounded by lush forests and meadows covered in blankets of wildflowers, the abundant nature gives aplenty to put on a table, hence little surprise that both cities boast many of this years’ Latvia’s restaurant top 30. Here we’ve made a tasty list for your next trip to Vidzeme!

Did you know that Robin Hood’s Bay was used as a filming locations for the 2017 film “Phantom Thread” and 2008’s “Wild Child” 🎥 A small fishing village located within the North York Moors National Park, Robin Hood’s Bay is often considered as Yorkshire's coastline at its most raw and elemental. A place of unrivalled Yorkshire beauty👌, it rocks for any geology fans as it’s one of the best spots in the UK to find fossil! Ride horses along the coastline, check out the Laurel Inn where the bar is carved out of solid rock and tuck into some locally caught fish. 🐟
