Three days ago I met a woman named Patty who quit her corporate job to “sell sea shells by the ocean” in Siesta Key. She said it was always her dream and she finally chose it over fear. She encouraged me and my best friends to do the same and to always come back and visit her at her store. I’m gonna interview her for my podcast one day
Two days ago me and my best friends met another new face. A woman named Michelle whose been married to the love of her life and best friend since 1987, after experiencing the wrong type of love prior. Michelle and her husband smiled and laughed more than any couple I’ve ever met. We spent an entire day with them, eating.. drinking.. adventuring around siesta and dancing to music. We ended our day with heart to hearts at their condo and when i asked her to give me an instagram caption, she said this :
““Life is full of highs and lows but each comes with a purpose. If you don’t pause to see the meaning, you’ll never reach the peaks.” .
Point of this is ya never know what kind of amazing people you’re gonna meet and who you can be inspired by. Maybe you’ll be inspired by stopping into a store to buy sunscreen.. where you meet a woman who sells seashells. Or maybe you’ll be inspired by one who spends 8 hours bonding with you and ends an amazing day with motherly heart to hearts. 💗
Go experience life. Meet New faces. New people. Find New surroundings. And strike up conversations ☀️
I lay their clothes out the night before if we have somewhere to be in the morning so it’s one less thing to do, but I forgot to last night. So I asked them to pick out their outfits, and they decided to wear each other’s clothes. I did pick out Rosie’s sweater, Charlotte on the other hand 😂. Also, I snapped this pic right before we went into, and changed for, gymnastics that they DID NOT have today 🤦🏻♀️. I don’t know if you’ve ever taken three kids into a public bathroom to change their clothes and put leotards on, but I would not suggest it 🤪🤪 ...And leaving you with my lesson learned from today, always check the calendar!
this is the best pic i could get 🤣🤣 but she is officially one week old as of last night!! crazzzzyy!!!! she’s seriously the sweetest baby & her snuggles are the best 💕💕💕 outfit & bow courtesy of @ksmith2281 // @shoplittlehco - the little courdaroy skirt overalls are too big 🤣🤣🤣
New on the shop floor - stop in & see us on this lovely Fall 🌞🍂day!!

Fall on Maui is switching out falling leaves for falling flowers 🌼
It's so hard to be productive and unpack all day when you have a face like this looking at you and wanting to cuddle. 🥰 I guess unpacking can wait! ✌️
Pumpkin path with love the girls ❤️
It is Tuesday, y’all! We are fully back into the swing of the week! I came back from my conference this weekend *so determined* to get myself into a morning routine that looked a little more like my life did before kids. By nature, I am a night owl 🦉but as I get older, the cortisol in my body and my adrenal glands don’t love that (hello, weight gain...I see you, tummy...) and I know how much better I will feel resetting those rhythms and getting a jumpstart on the day!
But when I was in California without kids, I, of course, overlooked all of the reasons why it has been so difficult for me to get up early for the past 8 years, and their names are Luke, Josie, Cate, and Benjamin 🤣
Stuffy noses, up to pee, all the bad dreams...getting up at 5am or earlier feels impossible because it is such a rare thing to sleep through the night over here 😂 anyone else feel me! 🙋🏻♀️
So I started with something I can more easily control: my own bedtime. An earlier bedtime has given me more clarity during the day and has made it easier to get out of bed in the mornings, both of which I’m better for implementing! .
I’m the kind of person who wants to flip a switch and somehow my best life is just flipped on, but the last two days have reminded me that working toward the goal and doing better each day is sometimes the best we can do in a season of sniffles, potty breaks, and nighttime monsters. As moms, we get a unique space to hold in this world, and our journeys get to be an encouragement to those around us ❤️
1. I remember walking these SF streets when it was just the two of us. 2. He gets asked the same question and pretty much gives the same answer, “yes they’re all mine and yes, same Mom.” And 3. We’re lucky he’s ours. ✌🏼 #cooldad
I love this photo so much! It's a Grandma and her granddaughters. I've always been fascinated by hands as they tell such a story. For example.. the coloured tail polish says "heyyy! I'm loving kidhood and I am awesome!" Did you ever just stare at your Grandma's hands while they chopped veggies, or wrote a list Your moms hands as they put on lipstick or fastened buttons Your baby's hands with those little knuckle dimples The details friends.. don't miss the details. These are what ground your memories.

Perfectly imperfect. I had this idea brewing in my head to creat a sweet and whimsical banner, I’ve been working on it for the last few days and finally finished today. It’s the perfect addition to the kids bedroom. 🐌 🍄 ✨
I have this thing with doors 🎃🍂
for those of you who don’t know...
I LOVE CHEESE!!! 🧀🤤
We 100% didn’t have room for dessert today...
Building up savings, starting up an investment account and organising your money can all seem like a massive faff when you have zero free time thanks to work, small humans, and cooking them what feels like 27 meals each day.
But a bunch of apps make it really easy to sort out your finances, cut your debts, and/or build up a nest egg, all with one thumb, via your phone.
We've done a round-up of our favourites, on the blog (link in bio) now. From @Splitwise, which splits your restaurant/holiday/etc bills for you, works out how much each person owes and sends notifications to remind people to pay.. saving you from being #awk, to @Moneyboxteam which 'rounds up' spending on your linked cards, so if you spent £4.20 on a soft play entry, 80p would go to your Moneybox investment fund, to one day pay for you to be somewhere nicer than softplay. Plus @moneydashboard for all round staying on top of your finances and lots more too.
What are your favourite money apps Comment below and share the time-savers! .

I’m feeling very reminiscent of this photo, it was taken 3 days ago and since that night I’ve been dying of food poisoning, I do NOT currently look anything like the women in this photo🤢☠️ Send help and ginger tea!
my feed is not made up of one thing + it’s basically the chaos of my life in photos. and I am slowly falling in love with it for the first time. chaos is what my life runs off of & that’s beautiful to me.
Art journaling helps to distill all the stuff sloshing around in my mind. Today there were music and blooms and darkness and reflections on hope. #romans1513
“While he was in Bethany at the house of Simon the leper, as he was reclining at the table, a woman came with an alabaster had of very expensive perfume of pure nard. She broke the jar and poured it on his head. But some were expressing indignation to one another: “Why has this perfume been wasted For this perfume might have been sold for more than three hundred denarii and given to the poor.” And they began o scold her. Jesus replies, “Leave her alone. Why are you bothering her She has done a noble thing for me. You always have the poor with you, and you can do what is good for them whenever you want, but you do not always have me. She has done what she could; she has anointed my body in advance for burial. Truly I tell you, wherever the gospel is proclaimed in the whole world, what she has done will also be told in memory of her.” (Mark 14:8) ♥️ All she could, all her heart, all she had, all her brokenness, given to Him. And He saw her, and defended her. May I give all I have and all I am, too. For Him. Even when it makes no sense to others and looks like waste. All for Him.
The colored smoke bombs were super cool for pictures but they smelled so bad here’s my face after the first whiff! 🤢 .
A spoonful of sugar for your day // If it was possible to wish or will something back to life, Everly would be the one to accomplish it. The purity in her stubborn nature is so sweet that I’m often rendered speechless when she goes off about the things she wholeheartedly believes in. When you’re five years old, it’s not about being a dreamer or a realist, all her dreams are as real for her as the food on the table at dinner time. I tend to be a realist, and often a pessimist. But she’s always my glass half-full and I adore every ounce of her for it.
She was convinced that she could make this monarch fly again. That she could help it heal with sweet words and attentive care. I could’ve explained that life doesn’t always work that way. But instead I hoped with her. And I think in the process of hoping for this damaged butterfly, I was healed a little.

It has been a busy long weekend, but I didn’t want to post anything else before taking a minute to say THANK YOU for the overwhelming support we got on our World Mental Health Day collaboration with @the_handle_bar! My favorite part of the entire day was when I had the chance to interact with some of the people that live down there on that block. As they gathered their free flowers, they smiled in a way that I’d never seen. And while your Facebook and Instagram posts were unbelievable, so so wonderful and so appreciated, those smiles are what it was all about. More sunlight.
Special shout out and major thank you to everyone who donated financially to help support this project. Particularly @handle_w_care_ for their large contribution and over all support. And to @jessiefrac, for being just as excited as I am about emilinating the stigma around mental illness. Literally couldn’t have done it without you. Hopefully this is just the beginning 💛
Taking a little break from working on Christmas designs and watching one of my favorite shows. What is a good little break when you’re starting to feel overwhelmed
In the spirit of finding what works for you, this reminder rings true. Maybe you’re in a season where you can’t do everything you once could. Maybe you’re having to put your hopes and dreams on a shelf for a little while. Maybe you need to take a break despite society telling you to run harder. Whatever it is for you right now, this is your reminder to be patient with yourself and where you are. There’s a time for every purpose and even if it doesn’t make sense to anyone else, keep leaning into what works for you.*
*Unless what is working for you is being a garbage person. In that case, don’t take this advice. Finding what works for you isn’t an excuse to be a jerk, just to free yourself of unrealistic expectations. 📸: @lemon_laine
on this gloomy day, i’m over here wishing i was snuggled up at a cozy café in Paris with this as my view, drinking endless café au lait (then switching to wine) instead
Several months ago I received several emails that I had been nominated for 20 On the Rise which recognizes and celebrates those "who are making waves and raising the tide, rocking their respective industries through hard work and creativity." It is truly an honor to be thought of and seen in this way. I started this business with lots of faith and a laptop knowing that I was going against conventional wisdom. And although entrepreneurship is not easy or glamorous I hope that I can be an example of what's possible when you lean into your purpose and pursue it with all your heart.
Thank you to every single client who has trusted me with their business and brand. YOU are why I continue to show up, to get back on the horse when things are tough, and to strive to be the very best at what I do. To every person who has come along this journey with me whether as a coach, friend, community member or mentee-thank you!! I'm also incredibly grateful to the friends and family who love and support me in all that I do. And to the God who continues to show me grace, mercy and continues to fuel the fire of my purpose- I am forever grateful.
May we all continue to swim against the current in the relentless pursuit of our dreams while wholeheartedly lifting others up along with us.
