โ€ข 5dl coconut milk
โ€ข 2dl water โ€ข 70g unrefined sugar โ€ข a pinch of salt โ€ข 45g cacao powder โ€ข 120g dark chocolate โ€ข 1tsp agar agar 
Method: 1. place milk, water and salt in a saucepan and heat over medium heat
2. in a bowl, whisk cacao powder with 4 tbsp of water until lumps free then pour into milk mixture and stir 
3. add in the chocolate and stir until dissolved 
4. place agar agar in a glas, add in 1 tbsp of water, stir and pour into the chocolate mixture 
5. bring the mixture to a boil and boil for 1-2 minutes 
6. pour the mixture into a mold, let it cool completely and let it rest in the fridge for 3-4 hours 
7. ENJOY .

๐ŸŒ๐Ÿฅœ๐Ÿฅ’Iโ€™ve been watching a cluster of apple bananas in my basket go from ripe to spotty to brown(prime time for monkey bread!) to a questionable black ๐Ÿ˜ฌ 
And so I googled โ€œblack banana edibleโ€. The answers were all โ€œyes, if they are bakedโ€....

Like 99% of things I make, after my first bite I already have a list of things I want to try differently in my next batch. But, I donโ€™t know when Iโ€™ll get around to that โ€œsecond batchโ€ so hereโ€™s the deets on the first run at these guys..

4 Small local apple bananas (came out to 7oz)
2oz Shredded zucchini
4 Eggs
1tbsp Coconut oil
1tsp Vanilla
35g Almond flour (I always use @birchbenders paleo or keto pancake mix for my gf flour)
30g @athorganics Plant protein
36g Powdered PB (I use @nakednutrition)
2tbsp Monkfruit sugar (or maple syrup but I wanted lower calorie option)
1tsp Baking soda
14g @lilys_sweets Choco chips (sugar free!)
2tbsp Natural peanut butter

Heat oven to 350. Shred zucchini, wrap in paper towel, squeeze out water & set aside. In a processor (or blender) add eggs, oil, & vanilla give a few pulses until blended. Add in flour, protein, powder pb, sugar or syrup & baking soda. Blend. **this is the only reason I use a processor because its the best way to fully dissolve and blend the protein and powder pb!)** Mash the bananas in a bowl then pour the batter in and mix. **this way you get chunky banana in your bites!** Add zucchini and choco chips and mix. Finally add peanut butter and swirl into batter. Pour into muffin liners and bake at 350 for about 20 min. After 10 min keep checking with a fork till it comes out clean!

To be honest, its really tough for me to write out directions for recipes because Iโ€™m so all over the place when I cook. It takes a minute for me to sit and retrace my steps and put them in a structured order that makes sense. Point being, if any of that doesnโ€™t make sense just ask! I can clarify whatever you need. Iโ€™m also always always open to suggestions!

I had a bit of a fangirl moment especially after watching her cook even though I have been in love with Bazaar and the ease with which you can create those recipes in your kitchen. I love following traditional recipes as much as recreating them and making them your own. Sabrina was all about that as she guided us to make her yet-to-be published vegetarian Persian dishes, adas polow, butternut borina, green beans with tahini, mushroom doner kebab, red kidney beans and sweet potato stew with hot mint oil with little tips and tricks on building a relationship with food. While I respect how a vegetable or a method or any other nuance makes a dish what it is, I love playing with something seasonal or easily available using an exact method or vice versa. That is how I started loving to cook. Sabrina was all of that and every bit as refreshing and relatable as the ghee she used ๐Ÿ’•

Testing out different recipes for a Halloween Cook-Off my work is having and I think I found the winner! Whatโ€™s your favorite kind of cookie this time of the year? These milk chocolate stuffed cookies are heavenly and I think they taste even better the next day๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿผnow just waiting on my cute jack-o-lantern cookie cutters. That time I have made this amaretto soaked fresh cherry, chocolate and almond tart with cashew cream topping.
It was unreal, full of super flavoured cherries with amaretto like liquor and ground almonds.
I am chilling at home after a long day, eating an apple and wishing for this cake to somehow materialize..

Autumn is in the full swing here in London, jumpers and coat weather for sure.
Dark part of the year vibes are definitely on, but I have not have time to 
slow down yet...
Infact quite the opposite.

add 1/2 c almond milk (@califiafarms is my fav), 2 spoonfuls of pumpkin, pumpkin pie spice, dash of vanilla and a little bit of maple syrup to a blender and blend until frothy. pour over top of some cold brew or expresso and enjoy๐Ÿ˜‰
